Willie Garson shared some very poignant words with his followers in his final tweet before his passing.
On Tuesday, September 21, the Sex And The City star - who played Carrie Bradshaw's flamboyant pal Stanford Blatch - passed away aged 57. He had been battling pancreatic cancer and was surrounded by loved ones when he died.
Fans of the much-loved actor have been left devastated by the news, with many taking to Twitter to pay tribute to him.
And the sweet sentiment behind Garson's own final tweet, posted on September 5, now holds a more poignant meaning with his fans.
He advised his followers: "BE KIND TO EACH OTHER......ALWAYS. LOVE TO ALL. APRROACH KINDNESS."
Since his untimely death, the tweet has racked up thousands more likes and comments.
One fan responded: "My heart is broken at hearing the news of your passing. What a beautiful last tweet- it reflects that big heart of yours that we love. Kind to all but always quick to speak out at injustices to humankind. You’re a class act. Thank you for being an inspiration."

On the day that his father died, Garson's 20-year-old son Nathen took to Instagram to announce the tragic news, writing: "I love you so much papa. Rest In Peace and I'm so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much."
He continued: "I'm so proud of you. I will always love you, but I think it's time for you to go on an adventure of your own.
"You'll always be with me. Love you more than you will ever know and I'm glad you can be at peace now. You always were the toughest and funniest and smartest person I've known. I'm glad you shared [your] love with me. I'll never forget it or lose it."
