In an adorable post to Instagram, Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie, real name Felix Kjellberg, announced the arrival of his first child with his wife Marzia Kjellberg. Their newborn son, named Björn, marks a delightful new chapter in the couple's life.

The YouTube sensation, who boasts an impressive 111 million-strong fanbase, broke the heartwarming news on Instagram this Wednesday. Sharing a glimpse of his joy with the world, he posted pictures cradling his son and penned the caption: "11 / 07 / 2023. Welcome to the family, little Björn."

This sweet revelation follows their pregnancy announcement in February 2023, just a few months after the couple relocated from the UK to Japan. PewDiePie and Marzia, after years of dating, tied the knot in 2019.

On starting a family with his wife, PewDiePie confessed it felt "kinda strange," but he was "so excited" to embark on this journey with "the woman I love."

His announcement unsurprisingly stirred the internet, racking up over 680,000 views on YouTube within the first hour. As Marzia's due date neared, PewDiePie informed fans about his plans to take a brief hiatus from his channel.

Sharing his anticipation and uncertainty, he said, "Just wanted to say, it's getting very close now. Very close to becoming a dad. I'm very, very, very excited. I don't know what it's gonna be like. I don't know if I'll have time to make videos. Is it gonna be chaos? I don't know."

Subsequent to their initial announcement, the couple added a dash of humor to their journey. On May 5th, during a visit to Tokyo Tower, PewDiePie posted a video titled "Think it's time we did a gender reveal," where he playfully teased fans by saying, "We're having a Fish."

Marzia took to her Instagram, sharing pictures with a subtle hint in her caption, "Hint hint," followed by suggestive emojis. These clues, paired with a photo in front of Koinobori (koi fish-shaped streamers used in Children's Day celebrations in Japan), led fans to believe the couple was expecting a baby boy, marking another thrilling milestone in the PewDiePie family journey.
