Zendaya's mother has cryptic response to claim daughter has 'secretly married' Tom Holland
Zendaya's mother has shared a cryptic response after she was asked about rumors that her daughter and Tom Holland are already married.
The actors first sparked dating rumors in 2021 after years of friendship dating back to their time on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016.
Though they later confirmed they are together, the couple has largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight as much as possible.
Zendaya also addressed engagement rumors after she posted a photo that showed a ring.
She explained in a video: “I posted [the picture] for my hat… Like, not for the ring on my right finger, you guys. Seriously, you think that's how I would drop the news? Like, what?!”
Their engagement was confirmed in September 2025 when Tom referred to Zendaya as his "fiancée" during a panel event.
Rumors have now begun swirling that Tom and Zendaya are already married after her long-time stylist Law Roach appeared to confirm it during a red carpet appearance.
Speaking at the 2026 Actor Awards, Law told Access Hollywood: "The wedding has already happened. You missed it."
When asked if that was true, Law laughed: "It’s very true."
While Tom and Zendaya have yet to say anything on the matter, Zendaya's mom was asked about whether the rumors were indeed true.
Zendaya's mom, Claire Stoermer, shared a clip from Law's interview on her Instagram Story with a laughing emoji, cryptically adding: "The laugh..."
Her post only added further intrigue to the saga as it wasn't a clear confirmation or denial, very much leaving fans guessing.
Though they are some of Hollywood's best-known stars, Tom and Zendaya have kept their relationship out of the spotlight.
Tom previously told The Hollywood Reporter: "Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible.
"We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
Zendaya added to GQ: "The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own.
"I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other."
While it may be a long while until we hear from Tom and Zendaya about their potential marriage, it seems things are only going from strength to strength between them.
