Zoë Kravitz has shut down a social media critic after they questioned the outfit she wore for her recent appearance at the 2021 Met Gala.

Like many celebrities at Monday's celebration, the 32-year-old actor turned heads and looked incredible as she hit the red carpet in a Saint Laurent slip dress. According to the Metro, the daring gown was designed by Anthony Vaccarello and was covered in crystals.

The Big Little Lies star completed the look with a silver thong, Jessica McCormack diamond earrings, and simple black open-toed heels.

As you can see from the pictures below, she looked remarkable:

Following the event, Kravitz took to her Instagram page to share the look with her 6.4 million followers.

However, despite receiving a flood of comments from social media users, one person critiqued the look, writing: "I don’t understand why they go practically naked. She’s gorgeous. Why does she feel the need to wear a dress like this?"

Not wishing to stay quiet on the matter, Kravitz responded to the commenter, writing: "Being uncomfortable with the human body is colonization / brainwashing. It’s just a body. We all got em [sic]".

Kravitz has since removed all of her posts from her Instagram page, but the comment was screenshotted and later shared by the Daily Mail and other publications.

And Kravitz wasn't the only celeb to hit back at trolls this week regarding their choice of outfits.

Megan Fox also took to Instagram this week to respond to those who have criticized her MTV VMAs and Met Gala outfits.

The Transformers star, 35, turned heads at the MTV Video Music Awards last week when she wore a completely sheer skin-colored Thierry Mugler dress. And on Monday, Fox arrived at the Met Gala in a stunning red Dundas gown.

Several days later, she has taken to social media to share pictures of the two outfits and defend her fashion choices against those who have slammed them.

Fox captioned the Instagram post: "Just me out here ignoring and defying all of your puritanical emotionally repressed projections of what a woman should be."
