Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have added to their brood after welcoming another baby, multiple sources have confirmed.
While performing at a private concert, 43-year-old Legend revealed that his latest addition was born on Friday, January 13, telling the crowd that they "welcomed the little baby this morning."
He then added: "What a blessed day," per Metro UK.
However, it seems the new dad hasn't had a chance to catch up on his beauty sleep, with PEOPLE magazine reporting that the 'All Of Me' singer said he "didn't get a lot of sleep," but felt "energized" after spending time in the hospital with Teigen and their newborn child.
The couple already have two children - a son Miles Theodore, four, and a daughter Luna Simone, six - and were set to welcome a third child - Jack - in 2020. However, in a series of poignant social media posts, Teigen, revealed that Jack had passed away.
Then, in 2022, the 37-year-old model later revealed that she'd suffered a medical emergency and the pregnancy had to be terminated. She then explained that she didn't realize she'd had what would be considered an abortion until later, per Entertainment Weekly.
As previously reported, Teigen revealed at the Day of Unreasonable Conversation summit at Beverly Hills' Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts last year: "Two years ago, when I was pregnant with Jack, John, and my third child, I had to make a lot of difficult and heartbreaking decisions.
"It became very clear around halfway through that he would not survive, and that I wouldn't either without any medical intervention."
She then added to the audience: "We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn't enough."
At the time of her tragic loss, Teigen took to Instagram to post images taken throughout the ordeal, with many fans praising her for sharing something so raw and devastating. Part of the caption read: "On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it."
Early last year, Legend told PEOPLE: "We're all excited, and, you know, my kids are old enough to really be aware of what's happening, so they're really anticipating having a new sibling in their lives. And I think they'll be good at being a big sister and big brother."
Teigen then added: "Since we did IVF, we knew probably nine days after we did the transfer that it had worked and we were pregnant. I told them very, very early. They knew that I was going in for the transfer, that we were going to go in and put this egg inside Mommy's belly. So they knew from the very, very beginning, and they knew there was a chance it might not work because that's happened before."
The happy couple deserves all the happiness as they welcome their newest arrival. Congratulations!
