A dad from Australia has recently gone viral after he decided to get a massive tattoo of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on his butt in order to win tickets to one of the star's concerts.

Luke Porter from West Lakes, Adelaide, has proved to be a loyal Swiftie - and a loyal father - after getting a tattoo of the 34-year-old singer and her NFL star boyfriend slap-bang on his backside in a bid to win his 12-year-old daughter a ticket to the Eras Tour when it comes Down Under.

The competition is courtesy of the Ali Clarke Breakfast Show on Mix102.3 - which is titled 'Parent of the Era' - and sees parents across Adelaide prove just how far they would go in order to secure their children one of the final spots at Swift's upcoming shows.

Not only that, it also includes flights and accommodation - the ultimate package for any Swiftie.

Luke's wife Jemma came up with the unique idea in the hopes that he would agree for the sake of their daughter, Jemma.

"I was going to put myself up but I thought I'd nominate my husband to get a tattoo of Taylor Swift on his bum. I asked him when he was half asleep, and he agreed," Rachel recalled as per the Daily Mail. "So here we are, he is getting a tattoo now and it will always be a funny story for us to tell, especially if they break up!"

In a clip posted to Instagram by the radio station, Rachel explained that she had caught her husband while he was "half asleep" and it took little persuading to get him to agree to the body ink.

Despite being "shocked" when he realized he had to follow through with it, the dedicated dad decided it was worth it for Jemma.

"This is a full butt cheek," one of the other hosts exclaimed as they watched Luke get his tat.

In the comments, hundreds of people expressed their opinion on the act.

Some people were nice, with this user writing: "A beautiful family, Dad of the ‘era’ for sure!" while another added: "This dad should absolutely win these tickets, yes people are doing crazy things to win this but this guy has this permanently on his butt, the ladies hair will grow back and the lady who held the spider this morning got to hand it back but this guy can't hand his tattoo back, its there for good so I say he has well and truly earnt [sic] these tickets. Dad of the Century I say."

However, others were not quite sure.

"I'm unsure how I feel about people making permanent changes to their body for a radio lark," this user added while another seemingly agreed that it was not worth the hassle writing: "It’s not worth it."

Well, I for one, support this man winning the competition because that's a big sacrifice.
