David Robinson - a series regular on the hit series Dog the Bounty Hunter - has sadly died at the age of 50, multiple sources have confirmed.

His ex-wife Rainy told TMZ that Robinson was attending a Zoom call on Wednesday (November 30) when he had a medical emergency.

She revealed that police and paramedics responded and administered CPR but were unable to revive him. The outlet speculated that the medical emergency could have been related to a heart attack, although this has not yet been confirmed.

Duane Chapman - also known as Dog the Bounty Hunter - gave a statement to TMZ following Robinson's sudden passing, saying: "I'm shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of David Robinson, my right-hand man of many years. Until we meet again, brother."

Robinson worked closely with Dog on several episodes of Dog's Most Wanted in 2019. He helped the bounty hunter in tracking down fugitives, instead of hunting those who had jumped bail.

Prior to his passing Robinson endured a rough few years, splitting from his ex-wife of 25 years in 2020.

At the time Rainy released a statement via Facebook announcing their split, saying, per The Sun: "After nearly 25 years of marriage (9/30/95) and 27 years together, David and I are separating. We have had many years of happy times, fun parties, television, businesses, tears, and triumphs. We share two beautiful daughters and three adorable granddaughters."

"Marriage is difficult and in some cases does not always last; we had a great run and I am proud of the time we've spent building a life. We are family and will always love each other as such," she added.

The statement continued: "Sadly, some very heartbreaking and irrevocable actions were taken which resulted in the end of our marriage. I don’t wish to expand any further as this has been a trying few months and I am now focused on my own path toward healing."

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of David Robinson at this difficult time.
