Peta Murgatroyd has welcomed a rainbow baby with her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
On June 18, the 43-year-old choreographer shared a picture of his wife in a hospital bed and several hours later, he announced on social media that the couple have a new addition to their family.
Taking to Instagram, Chmerkovskiy shared an adorable photo of him holding his baby in his arms with the caption: "Happy Father’s Day to me!" followed by the hashtag, "#MadeInPeta."
The newborn joins the pair's six-year-old son, Shai.

Actress Melissa Margaret Peterman wrote: "Congratulations!!!! So happy for you and your beautiful family!!" and Emma Slater chimed in: "OMG YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!! On Father’s Day!!!!"
Actor Alfonso Ribeiro - best known for starring as Carlton in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - also penned: "Congrats. Uncle Al can’t wait to you all."

Before welcoming their rainbow baby - which is a term for a child born after a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, termination for medical reasons, stillbirth, or neonatal death - the professional dancer revealed in January that she suffered a total of three miscarriages throughout 2020 and 2021.
"It brings me immense joy to finally announce that @maksimc and I are expecting our Chmerkovskiy #2," she wrote on Instagram. "After 2 years of constant struggle and heartache, 3 miscarriages, and a failed embryo transfer…we have a healthy bun in the oven :)) It was a shock to all of us and we found out right before I was going in for my second round of IVF."
Murgatroyd expressed her gratitude to everyone who has followed her fertility journey over the years and sent her encouraging message along the way, adding: "This news has brought extraordinary bliss to our family and we have so much to be grateful for."
Three months later, she revealed the gender of the pair's second bundle of joy in a heartwarming video shared on the social media platform.
"It's a……" Murgatroyd wrote alongside blue heart emojis. "The Chmerkovskiy's as a whole are creating their own soccer team LOL! We're so elated that Shai will get a baby brother and cannot wait to meet this little guy."
In an interview with PEOPLE last month, Chmerkovskiy opened up about how special it is to give his son a sibling after he and his wife dealt with fertility struggles
"He knew the story kept being that mommy has an egg, and then the egg broke. So finally, at this point, to tell him this egg didn't break, it's a very big moment for him and for us, seeing that baby come," he said. "Now there's kicking, the stomach is moving. Watching my 6-year-old taking in that moment is also very special."
Murgatroyd also heartbreakingly shared that after revealing to Shai that she had two miscarriages, she refrained from telling him when it happened for the third time.
"It was a lot some days," she admitted. "Very emotional because I didn't know what to tell him anymore. I told him the first two times, but I kept it vague. I didn't make it into this whole, 'Oh my God, we're having a baby,' thing. I just said, 'Be careful with Mummy's belly. She has a baby in there.' "
"I guess that's been another really hard part of it because he sees other kids with siblings," Murgatroyd continued. "And of course when [the pregnancy] goes, I kind of just stop saying it and he stops asking. I never told him I lost them or how. I just stopped saying it. And then for a while he stopped asking about it."
Congratulations to Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy!
