Elton John's whole family came out in style for his AIDS Foundation's Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party this week.
As well as John's husband David Furnish and sons Zachary and Elijah, the event also welcomed a star-studded guest list including none other than Lady Gaga.
However, what many don't know is that the 36-year-old singer-turned-actress is more than just a close friend of 75-year-old John and 59-year-old Furnish - she's also godmother to their two boys.
In rare and heartwarming snaps from the event, Gaga can be seen cozying up to 11-year-old Zachary and nine-year-old Elijah on the yellow carpet. The boys look dapper in their matching suits, while Gaga wears a stunning cream tuille gown for the occasion.
Furnish joins them in some of the shots, in which they've all turned out to support the foundation, which aims to end AIDS by 2030.
John took to Instagram to share an adorable snap, which he captioned: "So sad to be missing out on these family photos from #EJAFOscars tonight with @DavidFurnish, @LadyGaga and the boys."
The caption continued: "I’m sending my love to everyone for their support of @EJAF. It means the world to us!"
In 2018, John had spoken about the sweet bond between his boys and Gaga. He told Heart that his sons call the pop legend "GaGa-mother" and that they love to listen to her records.
He revealed: "They've got to the stage where they have their own little record player. The Fame Monster is one of their favorite albums of all time."
John went on to say of the 'Bad Romance' songstress: "She’s very hands-on. She comes whenever can she can and visits the boys. She bathes them, she sings to them, she reads stories to them. She’s the greatest godmother. She really cares. She leads a very heavy-scheduled life, but she always finds time for them."
He also joked about their famous family dynamic during a stint hosting SNL in 2011. "For those of you concerned that we are unusual parents, do not worry. It’s not like we are the only two people involved in the child’s life. His godmother is Lady Gaga," the 'Rocket Man' singer joked.
