It's a well-known fact that, whenever something crazy or weird happens in the world, it usually happens in Florida. We've written before about how the Sunshine State seems to be a kind of magnet for strange occurrences, and this phenomenon shows no sign of dying out any day soon.

If you want proof then just consider this incident, in which a Florida burglar who told the homeowner to "go back to sleep" when he was caught cooking himself breakfast was arrested this week.

Fox 13 News reports that 19-year-old Gavin Crim, a heavily-inebriated US Marine, broke into an innocent person's home in the 2400 block of Huntington Boulevard in Safety Harbor in the early hours of the morning of Tuesday, September 3.

However, instead of ransacking the place and making a hasty getaway, Crim proceeded to cook himself a full English breakfast. When the bewildered resident of the property was roused from their slumber, they came into the kitchen to discover Crim chowing down on his meal.

Crim told the startled resident to: "Go back to sleep." The property owner demanded that Crim leave the premises, and threatened to call the police.

Crim took off, but Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office eventually found him hiding in the swampland area behind the house. He was arrested and confessed to breaking and entering while under the influence. He was charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and was later released on a $1,000 bond.

This isn't the first time that booze has led to an unintended break-in. Earlier this year, a video of a drunk Scottish man who woke up in the wrong house after a party went viral on social media.

The man in question states in the video: "I went to get a taxi last night. The taxi left and I came into the wrong house. I came in, got a cover and went to sleep. Instead of going back to the party I went into the house next door."

He continued: "A couple woke me up going 'who are you?' I'm like: 'what are you talking about? I was here at the party last night'. And he went: 'trust me man, there was no party here last night' ... Thank god this woman is from Glasgow. She was like: 'Aye we're welcoming'. Got a cup of tea and a fag!"

However, more creepy is the burglar who cleaned someone's house from top-to-bottom and then left!
