Gigi Hadid has opened up about her alleged first meeting with Joe Jonas when they were just teenagers.
Now, we've been blessed enough to see some iconic celebrity couples over the years, but Hadid and Jonas are one mismatched pair that I always seem to forget about.
Long before Zayn Malik and Sophie Turner came around, the now 28-year-old spent some quality time with the Jonas brother when she was 20 years old.
Though brief, the two made headlines at the time as they were spotted together at various sporting events getting cozy as well as on intimate dates.

But how did the two meet?
Speaking during a Periscope stream back in 2015, the supermodel claims that she met Jonas at the Grammys when she was only 13 years old and he was... 19.
"We met at the Grammys when I was 13 years old," she said at the time as per Teen Vogue. "And he asked me to a baseball game, and I said no."
"I was so nervous; I literally didn’t even know what it meant to hang out with a boy," she added. "And also, Grammys are on a Sunday, and I didn’t want to tell him that I had school the next day, so I was like, 'No, maybe next time.'"
Turning down a Jonas during their peak rockstar days would have been a crime in itself, but - in this instance - we think it's probably for the best.
Anyway, what's a 13-year-old going to talk about with a soon-to-be 20-year-old at a baseball game?
"I didn’t have my phone with me," Hadid continued. "And I don’t think he did either because we were at the Grammys, and so he wrote his number on a piece of paper and gave it to my mom.
"And then we’ve been friends ever since. Except now, we’re more than friends. Obvs."
Their love story recently resurfaced on social media, and let's just say, people were left rather confused by Hadid's claims.
The pair ended up dating for a while when Hadid turned 20, though their romance quickly fizzled out due to lifestyle differences.
Hadid went on to date former One Direction boy band member, Zayn Malik.

The pair dated for six years on and off and even welcomed a baby daughter together before ultimately calling it quits in October 2021 after alleged dispute between Malik and Hadid's mom, Yolanda.
The singer denied all the allegations he was accused of by Yolanda - who stated that Malik had "struck" her - and his relationship with the runway model spiralled downhill shortly after.
"In an effort to protect that space for [Khai] I agreed not to contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago," Malik said, addressing the issue, before adding that he remains "vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves."
Hadid also spoke about the importance of protecting the couple's daughter during an interview with The Sunday Times stressing that "the importance of the child's happiness at the forefront" is the key to healthy co-parenting.
"You have a long life alongside this person," she continued. "That she can be with both parents makes me very happy."
"She's clearly a child who was grown in my stomach eating a lot of British food—breakfast, beans, curries. And she still eats like that," she explained. "She even says some words with a little [English] accent, which I love."
