It's often said that there's nothing like a mother's love, and for Glee star Lea Michele, who recently became a mom for the first time, this was exactly how she wanted to celebrate her 34th birthday.
Taking to Instagram, the actress and singer shared a picture of herself holding her newborn while looking at a cake, and she simply captioned the snap "34" alongside an emoji of stars.
This comes after Michele shared her first snap of her son, who was born on August 20, four days ago with the caption: "ForEver grateful for this true blessing."
The child's name is Ever Leo, and an insider close to the couple told People that their son's middle name Leo was likely a reference to his astrological sign as he was born in mid-August.
A source close to the married couple recently said of their new arrival: "Everyone's happy and healthy, and they're extremely grateful. [Ever]'s been an easy baby so far."
Michele's pregnancy was exclusively confirmed to the news outlet back in April.
"They've always wanted to be parents," a source said at the time.
This comes after Michele previously expressed a desire to have a big family.
"I'm going to have like a billion [children]! But mainly because I always hated being an only child, I always wished I had more siblings!" she told Glamour UK in 2014.
Lea and entrepreneur Zandy began dating back in July 2017.
Zandy popped the question in April 2018 and Lea announced that they were engaged on Instagram with a picture of her four-carat diamond ring and the caption "Yes" alongside an emoji of a ring.
In an interview with People at the time of their marriage last year, the couple said: "We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family.
"And most of all, we're so happy to spend the rest of our lives together."
