Flyysoulja, one half of the Island Boys, has come out as gay after a video of him kissing his twin brother Kodiyakredd went viral on social media.
The twins - whose real names are Franky and Alex Venegas - found fame on social media after a video of them rapping went viral in 2021.
The heavily-tattooed duo had decided to pursue a music career while in jail as teenagers and their distinct appearance helped them gain a following on TikTok.
However, the pair caused some controversy in recent weeks after a video of them kissing one another ended up going viral.
The kiss had been to promote their OnlyFans account but some fans had expressed their horror at seeing the two blood relations kissing one another.
Now, Flyysoulja has reportedly come out as gay in the wake of the video, with a screen recording from a recent TikTok live stream being shared on social media.
In the clip, Flyysoulja is heard saying: "I’m a top, I’m never a bottom, I’m a top you understand what I’m saying? I’m like that, for real.
"You gotta support me because you feel me: I like men and it is what it is. I’m a top, but I’m a top at the end of the day that’s just what’s going on."
The Island Boys had begun trending on Twitter following their viral kiss, with Kodiyakredd urging fans to subscribe to their OnlyFans if they "want to see some action."
The kiss did not go down well with many followers - given the pair are real-life biological twins - but Flyysoulja later confirmed that it was just a stunt to draw attention to themselves.
He commented: "Hahahaa I got everyone paying attention I knew it [crying face emojis]. So it took a kiss for everybody to pay attention? I guess selling your soul is real."
Alex - AKA Flyysoulja - also told TMZ at the time: "We’re both straight males and kissing is not counted as a sexual act," prior to coming out as gay.
He also claimed that he had often shared videos of him giving back to his community by helping the homeless but ended up taking those clips down as people didn't care about them anywhere near as much as they did about the controversy.
It also comes after Kodiyakredd suffered a seizure, which was revealed by his brother on Instagram, as he shared a post telling fans: "Redd had a seizure [broken heart emoji] I can’t rn."
