Jackie Chan has recently issued an update on his health after new photos of the actor left fans concerned about his health.
The 70-year-old Karate Kid alum addressed rumors about his health after a photo of Chan sporting gray hair and a matching beard at a recent event went viral.
The image was reposted to Twitter by Emir Han alongside the caption: "A recent photo of Jackie Chan, who is about to turn 70."

"Odd that Jackie Chan and Jet Li aged so rapidly all of a sudden, although I’ve heard that Jet Li suffered from an illness," wrote one user while another added: "Dude aged like 20 years in 5 years! Last time I saw him, he looked young!"
A third noted that "Time is undefeated..." upon seeing the image.
In the wake of the drama, Chan took to Instagram to mark his milestone birthday, posting a series of throwbacks alongside a lengthy caption addressing the rumors surrounding his health.
"Even before today, many friends have been reminding me: 'Jackie, it’s going to be your 70th birthday!,'" he wrote on Sunday. "Every time I hear this number, my heart would stop for a second - [I'm] 70 years old already?"
He continued: "After recovering from the shock, the second thing that would come to my mind is a saying that my big brother, Sammo Hung once said: 'being able to grow old is a fortunate thing.' Especially for us stunt people, we don’t know how lucky we are to be able to grow old."
He then directly addressed the viral photo.
"Not so long ago, a lot of friends saw some recent photos of me on the internet, and they were all concerned about my health," he said in the caption. "I want to take this opportunity to let everyone know, don’t worry! It’s just a character appearance for my latest movie. The character requires me to have white hair, white beard and look old.

The star went on to state that over the years, he's always been willing to try new things for new movies despite the challenges it may present, adding that he's thankful that he's been in the entertainment business for 62 years.
He concluded the post by thanking everyone for the birthday wishes: "A big thank you to everyone for all your birthday wishes. Hope everyone stays happy and healthy!"
