Jacob Elordi has been accused of assaulting a radio reporter who claims the actor "grabbed" his throat.

The 26-year-old Australian actor is currently one of the most popular screen stars in Hollywood, following his breakout role as Nate in HBO's Euphoria, and appearances in recent films Priscilla and Saltburn.

According to reports, Joshua Fox - a producer on The Kyle And Jackie O Show on KIIS FM - claimed that Elordi reacted angrily when he asked him to recreate an infamous moment from the thriller movie, in which Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan) drinks Felix Catton's (Elordi) bathwater.

The alleged incident reportedly occurred in a beer garden at the beachside Clovelly Hotel in south-east Sydney on Saturday (February 3), as reported by BBC.

The radio producer opened up about the alleged assault on Kyle and Jackie O Breakfast Show, and revealed that he approached the Euphoria actor outside the building while carrying a plastic tub labeled "Jacob Elordi’s bathwater".

Fox told the radio show's listeners: "He [Jacob] says 'Hey, are you filming? Can you not?' And I go 'Yeah, that's fine,'" as cited by Sky News and Sydney Morning Herald.

"He then kinda gets up in my face. So close, you know, someone standing over you and he's like taller than me. I could have kissed him he was that close," he continued. "So I'm backed against this wall, he's right in my face... Jacob demands I delete the footage, and I say, 'yeah, that's fine,' because we are not going to use it, the joke didn't land."

He claimed he told the actor he would delete the footage but then refused to because he felt "uncomfortable" so Elordi allegedly pushed Fox "against the wall and his hands are on my throat".

The New South Wales Police shared that they are investigating the matter in a statement provided to Variety.

"Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs," the statement read.

"Police were told about 3.30PM on Saturday 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident is continuing," they added.

Sydney Morning Herald disclosed that Fox went to Waverley police station to make a report about the alleged confrontation. However, the radio producer refused to give a formal statement and declined further requests by authorities to make a statement.
