Jada Pinkett Smith has thrown her support behind Rihanna's unconventional pregnancy style.

Ever since the 'We Found Love' hitmaker debuted her baby bump on social media last month, the singer has been wearing statement ensembles that have been branded "daring" and "racy" by fans online.

Most recently, the 34-year-old put her growing baby bump on display in a sheer dress, paired over a black lace lingerie set, featuring a black thong and black bralette.

While many praised her for showcasing a new side of maternity fashion, others seemed to think the looks were too scandalous.

Now, Jada - who shares two children with husband Will Smith - has defended Rihanna's pregnancy style, calling it "fierce", as she shared a throwback snap of her own maternity style that featured similar outfits.

Alongside the images, Jada wrote: "Who says you can’t wear see thru fits when you're preggers???

"I love me some Rih. She's bold, unapologetic, fierce, kind and an all around girls girl. She likes to see other women win and that’s one of her qualities I admire most."

She went on: "She's a queen that loves helping other women find and hold their own crowns. As women, it's important that we seeeee one another, help heal one another, love one another and support one another.

"Here's to one more of my favorites for International Women’s Month."

The mom-to-be's maternity style has been praised by fans online, but she recently admitted that it's been a challenging, yet, enjoyable experience.

Rihanna told People that the process is both "fun" and a "challenge."

"I like it. I'm enjoying it," Rihanna said. "I'm enjoying not having to worry about covering up my tummy. If I feel a little chubby, it's like, whatever! It's a baby!"

Rihanna continued that fashion has boosted her confidence while being pregnant.

"Right now, being pregnant, some days you just feel like, 'Ugh, I just want to lay here on this couch all day.' But when you put on a little face and a little lipstick, you transform," she said.

She added: "You put some clothes on, and it's like, when you look good, you feel good. I've heard that for a very long time, but it's true. It really can get you up off that couch and make you feel like a bad b***h."
