It looks like Janet Jackson and her niece Paris are "together again!"

The two members of the world-famous Jackson clan were in Paris this week for a fashion event when they decided to pose for a photograph together.

In the image, Janet and Paris can be seen next to each other on a glam, zebra-print couch. Paris is wearing suede thigh-high boots, a lacy dress, and rounded Lennon-style sunglasses, while Janet sports a smart grey suit and a bow adorns her intricate and towering hairstyle.

Posting the photo to her Instagram, Janet wrote: "So good catching up w/ my beautiful niece." Paris responded with a simple black heart emoji.

Paris is one of three children of the late Michael Jackson, who sadly passed away in 2009 after four decades in the music industry. It is thought that she and Janet have not been pictured together since the pop legend's funeral, and since then, Paris has remained famously private about her family.

In fact, in 2018 Janet received a Billboard Icon Award - an event that Paris' elder brother, Prince, and several other Jackson family members were in attendance. After facing many questions and scrutiny about not attending, Paris took to her Instagram stories to clear up the gossip.

"No one from my [management] reached out to me about attending billboards or about the award, and no one from my family did either. I had absolutely no idea until y'all spammed with hatred," she wrote, People detailed.

At that time, the actress hit out at people who had opinions on how her relationship with her aunt should be, sharing on Instagram via E! News: "Do not tell me/demands/try to control how I handle my relationship with the people in my life, specifically my family [...] As amazing and as s****y as things can be, it is no one's business but ours.

"I will always have love and respect for my family. ALWAYS."

As a young child, Paris and her siblings wore masks when out and about with their famous father, who wished to shield them from the intense media scrutiny he suffered as a result of his celebrity status.

In the past, the 23-year-old has spoken in depth about her father, stating via The Sun: "My dad was really good about making sure we were cultured, making sure we were educated and not just showing us the glitz and glam, like hotel-hopping, five-star places."

Paris, who is a budding musician, also added: "I think he'll always influence everything I do in some way, whether it's subconscious or intentional. I was around that creativity all the time, so I'm sure I learnt what I have from that. My brothers and I have always been massive fans of his music, but he was always very modest about it. He was very humble."

Earlier this year, it was reported by Access that Paris had revealed she would be open to collaborating musically with Janet - who holds the record for the most consecutive top-ten entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart by a female artist with 18 entries.
