Jared Leto rang in his 50th birthday by showing off his incredible physique in a rare shirtless photo shared on social media.
The singer-turned-actor took to Instagram to mark the milestone as he gave the camera a sultry stare and a thumbs up, with his washboard abs on display as he held a slice of rainbow cake.
"Thx for all the bday wishes!" he captioned the image alongside a black heart emoji, a piece of cake, and multiple prayer hand emojis.
The Thirty Seconds to Mars singer appeared to have slicked a layer of oil on his sculpted chest and washboard abs.
It wasn't long before fans rushed to the comments section to wish the star a happy birthday, while some simply took the time to ogle at his abs.
One fan couldn't believe his age, writing: "50 years ???? 50 years!!!!!!"
Another wrote: "Once again happy 35 birthday, dreamer … and can u post a new one like this."
"Happy 50th Birthday Jared Leto.. Looking sexier than ever," another added, before a fourth joked: "Jared Leto is 50? Hmm, I guess I'm into 50-year-olds."
Jared had blood dripping from his lip, indicating that the photo was taken while he took a break from filming his upcoming Sony movie Morbius, in which he plays a vampire.
The movie follows a doctor who unwittingly infects himself with vampirism as he desperately tries to cure himself of a fatal blood disease.
Dr. Morbius attempts the dangerous gamble to help not only himself but others going through the same condition but the effects are not what he expects.
The official synopsis reads: "One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius.
"Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble."
It adds: "While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil – or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?"
Originally set for release in July 2020, the movie was delayed several times due to the ongoing pandemic but it is now scheduled to debut in theaters on January 28, 2022.
Leto previously joked that he was a vampire himself – that would explain why he never ages – as he compared a photo of himself in 2008 and 2016 in which he looked identical.
"Amazing what a little human blood will do," he joked at the time.
