A lot of celebrities often go out of their way to remain anonymous when they're dining out, attempting to avoid the glare of fans and autograph hunters who will potentially interrupt their meal and invade their privacy.
Some of them even simply become invisible.
However, for WWE legend John Cena, even his long-term inability to be seen can sometimes fail him, as was evidenced recently when a video of a fan interrupting him during a meal with his friends went viral on TikTok.
In the clip, a fan - who goes by the handle @alex99rocks - walked towards the 16-time World Champion, who was sitting down with a friend, before asking him to do his trademark 'You Can't See Me' taunt from WWE.
Cena, clearly wanting to be left alone, politely replied "Can I enjoy some time with my friends?"
The fan then apologized, to which the one-time Doctor of Thuganomics gives a small smile and a nod before continuing the conversation with his friend. And his response has been praised by fans.
"Cena has always been serious about his private life. It’s hard boundary to set but I respect it," one person wrote.
Another user added: "Just say what's up and that's it lmao. Bros asking him to do something while out with his friends. People gotta learn."
"He's actually really nice but walking up recording is not it," a further comment read.
Someone else chimed in with: "Imagine being bothered all the time just because you are famous. They are people too respect that."

Though we can't necessarily blame the eager fan for wanting to get up close and personal with Cena, who is rarely seen inside a WWE ring these days. In fact, his only match so far this year was against Austin Theory in April at WrestleMania 39, where Theory successfully retained his United States Championship.
Since stepping back from his wrestling career, Cena has become more focused on acting, having starred in a range of different movies including, most notably, the Fast and Furious and Suicide Squad franchises. He is also portraying the main character of Peacemaker in the TV series of the same name.
Earlier this year, the future WWE Hall of Famer was spotted getting a workout in at a Liverpool gym, ahead of filming he was doing in the UK for an upcoming film.
It's clear, though, from this recent TikTok that, despite his immense fame, he's still human like everyone else and just wants to enjoy a meal with his friends.
