Lizzo has once again shut down critics of her wardrobe.
Last October, the 34-year-old musician attended Cardi B's birthday party in a gorgeous crystal studded see-through dress that certainly had people talking.
While all eyes should've been on how incredible she looked, it didn't take long for people on the internet to criticize her for donning the garment.
However, the 'About Damn Time' singer knew how to handle the situation by sharing a special message calling out the internet trolls during an Instagram Live on October 14, 2021.
Check out Lizzo's dress below:"It's very funny to me that people are upset that I'm wearing a see-through outfit or that I'm twerking in a see-through outfit," Lizzo said in the live stream that was also posted on YouTube.
The singer went on to share some words for the online bullies in a scathing rant and questioned why people were referring to her outfit as "disgusting".
"Don't you have bills to pay? Don't you got mouths to feed, including your own? Don't you have a life to live? Don't you want to fall in love and make friends?" she said.
"Don't you got s*** to do? Go read the news, b****, before I read you. The f***! Why are you worried about me?" she then continued.
The 'Truth Hurts' singer went on to explain that she’s tired of social media drama - as people tend to be more malicious behind their screens.
"It seems like every single day somebody's disrespecting somebody on the internet," she said. "Let people live, bro. Let people wear whatever the f*** they wanna wear."
The award-winning star then concluded that she wasn’t even personally concerned about the comments made about her, but reiterated that she’s exhausted by cruel online comments.
"I don't give a f*** if people are mean to me," she explained. "I'm rich…and I'm beautiful, and I have a beautiful family. I am good. I got friends who love me. I'm not worried about y'all. I do this because y'all continually disrespect human beings like it's a sport."
The 'Juice' singer, who has long faced criticism just for existing in her body, has responded to negative comments in the past. She has also continued to stress that there’s no place for viciousness when it comes to judgment regarding her body confidence.
Last year, the singer posted a TikTok video about her exercise routine and reminded everyone that she goes to the gym to feel good about herself and not to meet anyone else’s expectations.
"It may come as a surprise to some of y'all that I'm not working out to have your ideal body type," she said at the time. "I'm working out to have my ideal body type."
As for what that ideal type is, she concluded that it’s "None of your f***ing business," adding, "I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job, and I stay on my job."
"Next time you want to come to somebody and judge them - whether they drink kale smoothies or eat McDonald's, or workout or not workout - how about you look at your own f***ing self, and worry about your own damn body."
"Because health is not just determined by what you look like on the outside, health is also what happens on the inside," she said, adding, "and a lot of y'all need to do a f***ing cleanse for your insides. Namaste, have a great day."
