Rapper Machine Gun Kelly has recently declared that he has "Peter Pan Syndrome."
During an episode of Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast, the 32-year-old delved into the details of his new movie, Taurus, stating that there were many personal similarities reflected in the character he plays on screen.
"...He wants so bad to be good, and you see that she [Illana, his assistant] sees it in him, and she doesn’t leave him, and she sticks it out, and she understands that he was just a broken boy who has Peter Pan syndrome — which is me," he said.
"You don’t want to grow up," he continued. "You know what I mean? You’re a lost boy, but you have Wendy, and Wendy doesn’t want to be with the lost boy, but she’s like, 'Come back home and be a grownup with me.' And you watch Peter Pan have the choice."
Check out the trailer for Taurus below:The interviewer then asks the 'Bloody Valentine' singer: "Who’s been the Wendy for you?"
To which, MGK replies: "Must I say?" Obviously referring to his fiancée, Megan Fox, who also stars alongside him in the new film as his on-screen wife.
The interviewer then questioned if Fox was the reason the rapper had been more productive and happier over the last year.

While the 32-year-old denied being "happier" due to other external factors outside of his relationship, he did add that he wants to be "a great friend and a great father and a great man to my lady and still be able to find some way where I can have this dream [career]."

Directed by Tim Sutton, Taurus tells the story of Cole, a troubled musician played by Machine Gun Kelly, who is battling with detachment and isolation issues after embarking on his latest tour. Those around him are left concerned by his latest antics which leads him to a crossroads where he can either use his art to express himself or succumb to his greatest demons.
The drama is set to hit our screens on November 18.
