The allegations surrounding Ellen DeGeneres and her eponymous talk show don't appear to be letting up any time soon.

Now, Mariah Carey has broken her silence on her infamous 2008 interview with Ellen, in which Ellen jokingly pressurizes the singer to open up about a pregnancy that sadly ended in a miscarriage.

The host began by asking the singer to address the rumors that she was expecting a child with her then-husband, Nick Cannon.

Watch the notorious interview below:

"Don't discuss that…" Carey said, but instead of respecting her wish, Ellen produced a bottle of champagne and two glasses and encouraged the singer to drink.

"I can't believe you did this to me, Ellen…" Carey says.

"What? I'm not going to ask you if you're pregnant," DeGeneres said as she poured Carey a large glass of champagne. "Let's toast to you not being pregnant, if you're not pregnant!"

At the time of the interview, Carey has confirmed that she was indeed pregnant but took a small sip of champagne due to the fact that she wanted to keep her pregnancy a secret.

"It's too early for me, I only drink after 3:00PM," Carey said, as she took the tiny sip.

"You're pregnant! You're PREGNANT!" DeGeneres yelled.

Now, in an interview with Vulture, Carey has opened up about the interview.

"I was extremely uncomfortable with that moment is all I can say. And I really have had a hard time grappling with the aftermath," she said.

"I wasn't ready to tell anyone (about the aftermath) because I had had a miscarriage. I don't want to throw anyone that’s already being thrown under any proverbial bus, but I didn’t enjoy that moment," she told Vulture.

The singer continued: "(There's) an empathy that can be applied to those moments that I would have liked to have been implemented. But what am I supposed to do?"

This comes after Ellen was accused of mocking Sofia Vergara's accent, prompting the actress and model to take to social media to silence people claiming that she was a "victim" of Ellen DeGeneres' "bullying".

Last week, a Twitter thread was started which encouraged people to share clips of DeGeneres "being rude and d*sgusting".

One clip shared with the thread was accompanied by the caption "Ellen [continually] mocking Sofia Vergara’s Spanish accent", and shows a collection of Vergara's appearances on the show in which, yes, Ellen does poke fun at her accent.

You can see the clips in the video below - Do you think Ellen goes too far?

In the video, Ellen jokes that Vergara's accent has gotten worse over time and mimicks the way she says certain words - jokes that many Twitter users viewed as "bullying":

However, despite the resurfaced clips going viral on social media, Vergara, 48, has personally responded to the claims that she was ever a "victim".

Writing to her 8.7 million followers, Vergara said: "Two comedians having fun with each other to entertain. I was never a victim guys, I was always in on the joke."

Earlier this month, Ellen Show employee tWitch - real name Stephen Boss - has broken his silence surrounding the scandal in an interview with Us Weekly.

The beloved resident DJ said: "We can’t speak too much legally about it, but I’ll say this, there's been love.

"Obviously there's some things to address, but from my standpoint and from countless others, there's been love. I'll just leave it at that until there's a time where we can address more publicly."

Finally, the 37-year-old ended by reiterating: "There's been love and there will continue to be love."
