Meghan Markle has garnered praise online after appearing make-up free and sporting her naturally curly hair in images taken from an apparent Zoom call.

Images taken from the call were shared on Twitter, with the original poster writing: "Omgggg!!!! New #PrincessMeghan sighting. How gorgeous does she look?!!! Shared by a girl #meghanmarkle was having a zoom call with. Possible Archetypes launch soon!! [sic]."

Appearing to be participating in a Zoom call from her $14m home in Montecito, California, the images of the Duchess of Sussex were originally captured by an unknown person who ended up distributing them.

For fans of the 41-year-old Duchess, the fresh-faced and natural look was a welcome change from the usual straightened locks she typically sports.

Of course, Twitter users were quick to comment words of praise underneath the images, with one user writing: "Is that her natural hair? It's gorgeous. I'm a curly girly too."

Another replied: "She looks so happy [red heart emoji] I'm glad she's in such a better place. Fresh face, glowing, proud, and smiling... just a natural beauty. And, yes, that hair! I love her curls! I hope Meghan steps out in her natural curls on one of her upcoming visits! [prayer hands emoji, crying emoji, red heart emoji] [sic]."

"I agree. I was noticing those natural curls. So pretty. Me, who has spaghetti straight hair always wished I had curls or even a slight wave," someone else chimed in.

The release of the candid screengrabs coincided with the announcement of Markle's new podcast, Archetypes. The title of her new venture is derived from her son's name, Archie, and it is described as: "A podcast where we explore and subvert the labels that try to hold women back."

The first episode is titled "The Misconception of Ambition" and includes input from tennis pro, Serena Williams, on the double standard women face when they are labeled as "ambitious." Williams and Markle also detail their shared experiences trying to juggle motherhood with careers in the public eye.

Also included in the podcast's first episode was valuable input from Dr. Laura Kray, who is an expert on gender in the workplace. She adds her unique perspective on the ways negative archetypes affect both women and men.

The podcast was released under Markle's and her husband, Prince Harry's organization Archewell; which also includes the Archewell foundation, Archewell audio, and a production company - the latter of which has a creative partnership with Netflix, per the Archewell site.

Already #1 on Spotify, the podcast marks the beginning of Markle's and Prince Harry's exclusive multiyear deal with the audio giant, Deadline has reported.

With the next guest said to be pop sensation, Mariah Carey, it's safe to say that Archetypes is definitely set to be another success for the Duchess. Watch this space!
