Miley Cyrus was filmed pushing Liam Hemsworth away on the red carpet shortly before they split.
In unearthed footage from the Avengers: Endgame premiere in April 2019, the Wrecking Ball singer, 28, can be seen pushing her then-husband, 31, away after he puts his arm around her waist.
The clip recently emerged on social media after it was posted to Instagram by @popcultureangel.

The Hannah Montanna star can be seen trying to pose up a storm for the cameras, but her husband was not keen to do the same thing, which appears to be why she decided to push him away and did it alone regardless.
Captioned, "don't marry a bad bitch if u can’t handle one", the account also posted another awkward exchange between the then-husband-and-wife, which saw Liam urge Miley not to twerk on the red carpet.
Watch Liam beg his wife not to pull her signature dance move:In the video taken at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in February 2019, Liam looks visibly annoyed and embarrassed as Miley launches into her famous twerking move on the red carpet.
"Don't do it. Don't do it," he begged her. "You're scaring everyone on the carpet."
The singer ultimately listened to her husband, looking awkwardly into the camera afterward, during their joint interview for Access.
But while Liam might not have been happy with Miley's red carpet antics, people on Instagram were quick to rush to the singer's defence in the comments section of the post.
Reacting to the footage, one Instagram user wrote: "Miley is the main character and Liam was just real life jake no fussin [sic]."

A second added: "Miley was tooooo good for him."

However, not everyone believed that Miley was in the right.
One Instagram user wrote in Liam's defense: "Sorry but the way i see it she was wrong here. He was uncomfortable and she didn't respect that. If he would have started with those sexual movements towards her (or push her away from his side like that) y'all would say he’s bad. He just can't win here [sic]."

A second added: "She's basically being praised for being mean lol."

Meanwhile, this Instagram user wrote a sentiment most will agree with after watching the videos: "they were just too different from each other, I'm glad they broke up."

The couple went on to file for divorce in August 2019 after just eight months of marriage.
