Millie Bobby Brown has broken her silence after TikToker Hunter Ecimovic claimed they had an illicit relationship.

Last summer, Ecimovic made headlines when he alluded to an entanglement between himself and Brown when she was 16 and he was 20.

As well as implying they had been intimate, the TikToker - who has millions of followers - also made crude comments about the Stranger Things star on Instagram Live.

Per E! News, Ecimovic even went as far as to claim he "groomed" the young actress.

Now 18, Brown has finally addressed his allegations in an interview with Allure, saying she found herself in an "unhealthy situation" with Ecimovic where she felt "very vulnerable".

"When you get publicly humiliated this way, I felt so out of control and powerless," she revealed.

However, the Enola Holmes star went on to say that extricating herself from the situation with Ecimovic was ultimately an "empowering" experience.

"Walking away and knowing that I’m worth everything and this person didn’t take anything from me, it felt very empowering. It felt like my life had finally turned a page and that I actually had ended a chapter that felt so f***ing long," she said, adding: "It was a year of healing."

Brown also explained that she wanted to be open with her fans about the situation so that they would know "that I, too, go through things."

"I’m not this perfect person that is selling skin-care products and [who is] in Stranger Things. I absolutely have made wrong decisions," said the Florence by Mills founder.

Although this is the first time Brown has addressed Ecimovic's allegations herself, her representatives denied the TikToker's claims around the time he made them.

"Mr. Ecimovic's remarks on social media are not only dishonest, but also are irresponsible, offensive and hateful," representatives for the actor said in a statement to E Online.

"Instead of engaging in a public discourse with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to ensure that he stops this behavior once and for all," the statement added.
