Olivia Culpo has opened up about her financial struggles after her break up with Nick Jonas, saying that she couldn't even afford groceries after their split.
The model - who won Miss Universe in 2012 - was in a relationship with the Jonas Brothers singer for two years from 2013-2015.
Now, the 30-year-old has spoken about their relationship in an episode of her reality series, The Culpo Sisters, and her financial struggles following the end of their romance.
"I moved to LA with him," Culpo said, via Billboard. "I had no brand, no money and I was in love. That was great, right? But when he broke up with me, I was kind of left with no sense of identity."
She then revealed the issues she faced financially after Jonas ended their relationship, saying: "I thought we were going to get married - I thought all the things.
"I just remember night after night looking up at my ceiling in my apartment that I couldn't afford, thinking to myself, 'How am I going to pay my rent?' I couldn't even afford my groceries. It was a serious, pivotal moment for me, but it was something that taught me that you can't give up."
Culpo has since moved on with 49ers quarterback, Christian McCaffrey - who she has been with since 2019, per Page Six. Jonas, 30, has since married Indian actress and former Miss World, Priyanka Chopra. The two share a young daughter, Malti, born in January this year.
Well, if there's one thing to take away from this, it's that Jonas definitely has a thing for beauty pageant queens!
