Two women have gone viral after revealing that their mom sadly passed away while they were at a Taylor Swift concert.

Sisters Linds and Morgan shared a TikTok video - which has amassed 11.9 million views - with an overlay text that read: "Our mom died while we were at the Taylor Swift concert."

In the clip, the siblings explained that back in 2017, their mom surprised them with tickets to the Reputation tour on Christmas, however, two weeks before the concert, their mother's cancer spread to her brain so she was in hospice and unresponsive.

The sisters were by her side every single day but ultimately decided that they should still go to the show so they gave their mom's ticket to their best friend Ally. "We talked with our dad, and we just decided that she would still want us to go to the concert," Linds explained.

After the concert, the sisters received a text from their dad that read: "You guys need to come here now," and at that moment they knew their mom had died. They also sadly added that a year after the concert, their best friend Ally - who had attended the Reputation show with them - was tragically murdered.

Linds then delved into a "weird coincidence" between their mother and Taylor Swift, saying that Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is releasing exactly five years after their mother passed away.

Morgan joined in, remarking: "When Taylor announced her Eras tour, she said she was coming to Ohio on June 30th and July 1st. We ended up with tickets for Saturday, July 1st, and we just think it's such a weird coincidence that we're going to the July show, like a week [before the fifth anniversary of the] Reputation tour [show] when our mom died."

Many users offered their condolences to Linds and Morgan in the comment section of the video. One user wrote: "Your mom was able to let go knowing you both were together and having fun."

Another said: "I feel like even though your mom wasn’t at that concert with you, she was. Also, I’m so sorry about you friend."

A third commented: "I’m so sorry for loss but your mother knew you needed this. Praying for an AMAZING experience and cannot wait to hear about the surprise."

At the end of the original video, the sisters revealed that their dad gave them a letter that they couldn't open until their Eras tour concert. They weren't sure if it was from their late mom or "something random" their dad found.

But a follow-up video confirmed it was something much more emotional.

"So, it was just a letter from my dad, written to us from the perspective of my mom in heaven, saying she's so proud of us for all the stuff we've done since she died and that we should have so much fun tonight," Morgan explained.

They added that their dad gave them $100 so Linds quipped: "Drinks are on him tonight!"
