After an epic match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Fransisco 49ers last night, people are wondering whether the better team actually won or if there was something else at play.
Now, with any major sporting event, there's always speculation around the winner - did the team deserve to win? Did someone pay the ref off? Or was it rigged right from the start?
Social media users are currently in the middle of questioning the Chiefs after they secured the victory over the 49ers at the prestigious Super Bowl LVIII which took place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11.

"49ers deserved that win. It’s so rigged I hope you guys can see it for what it is, truly rigged. Chiefs you guys got so lucky Taylor swift bailed you guys out," wrote one user on X, formerly Twitter.
"TAYLOR SWIFT WINNING THE SUPER BOWL AND YOU DONT THINK THIS IS RIGGED?" added another.
"We all knew this was rigged for Taylor Swift," a third also stated.
However, others jumped to the defence of the star and blamed the double standards.
"I love how when the Chiefs lose it’s bc Taylor Swift is a curse & when the Chiefs win it’s bc the NFL is rigged bc of Taylor Swift.. women are so powerful," this user commented while another sarcastically chimed in with: "'The game was rigged' yes, you solved it. The feed was on a delay and the owners made a deal with Taylor Swift and she was personally arranging the players like chess pieces. There's no way it was two good teams and one won fair and square- definitely something sinister at work."
Just before the game even started, someone else managed to predict that this would happen.
"Taylor Swift is going to catch more shit than any player no matter what the outcome of the Super Bowl is because if the Chiefs win, people will say the game is rigged, and if they lose, people will say she’s a jinx."
It comes after a growing number of fans were accusing the 'Love Story' singer of "ruining football" whenever she turned up to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at his games.
At the AFC championship game just before the Super Bowl took place, a video went viral of a fan shouting at the singer, telling her that her presence alone was destroying the game.
In the clip that was reposted to X, a handful of fans could be seen gathered at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore as Swift walked past, and amongst the crowd, there were a few people who clearly weren't happy that the 'Love Story' singer kept popping up at games.
"You're ruining football," one person kept repeating over and over again. "You're running the NFL," they said again, to which it seemed as though Swift responded back saying: "I didn't do anything."
Other occasions saw the singer get booed any time she would appear on the big screen.
But hey, when you're as powerful as Taylor Swift, you're bound to get some backlash, but she remains unbothered as she and her man undoubtably spent their time celebrating a momentous win rather than focussing on the haters.
