Nick Cannon has spoken out about being depressed after the death of his baby son and claimed women would give him "a little vagina" to help him.

During an interview with Lip Service posted on Tuesday (June 7), the Wild N Out host revealed that he planned to be celibate from October 2021 to January 2022, but it didn't happen after his infant son passed away from brain cancer in December.

The 41-year-old said: "I didn't even make it to the top of the year but then I started going through some stuff with... I got depressed with the loss of my son."

Adding: "In December, everyone saw I was so down, everybody's like I'm just going to give him a little vagina, that's going to cure it all."

Cannon's son Zen, whom he shared with Alyssa Scott, tragically died at five months from brain cancer on December 5, 2021.

He announced his five-month-old son's death on The Nick Cannon Show that week, saying he suffered from hydrocephalus.

On the show, Cannon said the tumor developed quickly around Thanksgiving and tearfully told the audience how he spent the weekend in California to share a few last moments with Zen.

Zen was Cannon's seventh child. The actor said before he died, he took him on a trip to the beach on Sunday and held him for the last time.

The actor, who once said monogamy was a "Eurocentric concept" - is expecting his ninth child while awaiting the birth of his eighth baby.

He shared on his morning talk show that he is expecting baby number eight with model Bri Tiesi. Cannon was seen attending Bri's gender reveal party in January this year, just weeks after the death of his son.

On the Lip Service podcast, Cannon was asked about rumors that he is expecting three more children. He joked: "When you say on the way... What count are you at? Let's just put it this way ... the stork is on the way."

He did not specify how many babies he is expecting this year, but said: "If you thought it was a lot of kids last year."

In 2021, Cannon had twins with DJ Abby De La Rosa and a son with Alyssa Scott. He also has two children with model Brittany Bell and twins with Grammy award-winning singer Mariah Carey.
