Viewers have been left stunned after finding out Emma Stone has a child following her emotional speech at the 2024 Oscars.
The 2024 Academy Awards took place last night (March 10) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with Hollywood's biggest stars gathering in one room to honor the best in film and entertainment.

The Best Actress award is one of the most hotly contested of the year, and this year was no different as those up for the awards were all very deserving recipients.
The 2024 nominees were: Annette Bening for Nyad, Lily Gladstone for Killers of the Flower Moon, Sandra Hüller for Anatomy of a Fall, Carey Mulligan for Maestro, and Emma Stone for Poor Things.
The 35-year-old actress reigned victorious in the category, marking her second Oscar win after taking the same prize in 2017 for La La Land. She now joins the likes of Meryl Streep, Jane Fonda, and Jodie Foster as double Best Actress Oscar winners.
Stone had already won a string of awards for the Yorgos Lanthimos directional film, including the BAFTA for Best Actress and Golden Globe for Best Female Actor in a Musical or Comedy.
Taking to the stage, the actress began her acceptance speech by acknowledging her "broken" dress mishap, and noting: "My voice is also a little gone - whatever."
"The other night, I was panicking, as you can kind of see, happens a lot," she continued. "That maybe something like this could happen, and Yorgos said to me, 'Please take yourself out of it.' And he was right because it's not about me."
"It's about a team that came together to make something greater than the sum of its parts. And that is the best part about making movies. It's all of us together," she said. "I am so deeply honored to share this with every cast member, with every crew member, with every single person who poured their love and their care and their brilliance into the making of this film."
The Easy A star expressed gratitude to her mother, brother, dad, and her husband Dave McCary who accompanied her, heartfully saying: "I love you so much."
She then shared a special shout-out to her daughter who will turn three in three days and "has turned our lives technicolor," adding: "I love you bigger than the whole sky, my girl."
Many viewers took to their social media to express their shock at Stone being a mother-of-one, with one user writing: "Wait! She has a daughter?!" Another chimed in: "Wait what, she is married and has a daughter, already?" while a third commented: " I know I just found this out!! Clearly, I missed the whole announcement and pregnancy!"

Stone is known for keeping her personal life out of the spotlight.
She tied the knot with the 38-year-old comedian in a private wedding in September 2020 after postponing their nuptials for six months amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple then quietly welcomed their daughter in March 2021.
According to Page Six, the pair's daughter's name is Louise, and her middle name is Jean, which is also the middle name of Stone and her mother, Krista Jean Stone.
