Fans have been going crazy after getting a first look at Korean actor Park Seo Joon in his new role as Prince Yan for a new Marvel movie.
The Marvels tells the story of Carol Danvers (played by Brie Larson) getting her powers entangled with those of Kamala Khan (played by Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (played by Teyonah Parris), which forces them to work together to save the universe.
While the movie primarily focuses on the three women and the true extent of their powers, we get to see some new faces on the scene including the likes of Zawe Ashton, Saagar Shaikh, and of course, the ever-so-talented Park Seo-Joon.
Park might be new on the Marvel scene, but make no mistake, the 34-year-old has already made a lasting impact in the world of Korean dramas after starring in some notable greats such as Itaewon Class, What's Wrong With Secretary Kim and a personal favorite for a lot of K-drama fanatics, Fight for My Way.
He has also starred in multiple award-winning movies such as Midnight Runners, Concrete Utopia, and Parasite, which has helped to catapult a small-town boy to a big-name actor.
But perhaps in his biggest role yet, the star has now taken on the role of Prince Yan, a character from the alien planet Aladna, in the upcoming film The Marvels which is set to be released later this week.
In a first-look teaser posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, Park can be seen flaunting his long tresses and unique outfits - one of which includes a golden crown that stretches out into large butterfly wings - to give fans a glimpse of what they should expect.
The clip, which has been viewed over 2.1 million times, garnered a lot of attention with hundreds of social media users taking to the comments to leave their views on Prince Yan.
"Wooow so excited to see this hot prince," wrote one user while another added: "No one told me Park Seo Joon was in this movie, definitely watching it now."
However, not everyone seemed best pleased, but more so about the production of the movie above anything else.
"Why does this look like a Disney channel original movie," questioned this X user.
Similarly, this user added: "Am I gonna be the first one to just straight up say this looks bad like an early 2000’s Disney xd movie."
And, this isn't the only issue with the film, with many seemingly slamming the short runtime, coming in at 105 minutes, but the director, Nia DaCosta, confirmed that this was done on purpose.
"I really wanted it to be under two hours. I always think about the runtime actually, when I go into a film. I just feel like there's no need to have it long if you don't need to, because 1 hour 45 minutes is pretty average for a movie, so we were all really excited," she told Digital Spy.
"I just think you do what's right for the movie. I didn't even know about this runtime thing until I think it was reported on. You have to do what's right for the movie."
The Marvels is set to be released on November 10.
