Congratulations are in order for Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Matthews, as they are now parents of two.
On Monday (November 28), the couple announced the arrival of their second baby in a joint Instagram post and also revealed the name of their son.
In the post, the 27-year-old athlete and his partner shared a photo of their newborn's tiny legs while he lay on a blanket that read "Mahomes" with a diamond chain that featured their son's nickname, "Bronze" in front of his feet.
"Patrick 'Bronze' Lavon Mahomes III š¤“š½11/28/22 7lbs 8oz" the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his 27-year-old personal trainer wife captioned the sweet picture.

One user joked: "Bronze I guess it's safe to say he'll never be first place..."
While another said: "I thought this said gronzeā¦ this is a weird name, sucks for the kid!"
A third person noticed a pattern, writing: "I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one that noticed this. Dogs Silver and Steele, daughter Sterling. I was like what's he gonna name this one, Titanium?"
A Twitter user chimed in on the name conversation and said: "Patrick Mahomes naming his kid bronze when his dog's name is silver is pure comedy."
Despite the naysayers, the couple - who started dating in high school - are ecstatic about the latest addition to their family.
The two first announced their second pregnancy in May 2022 in a joint Instagram post featuring them and their 16-month-old daughter, Sterling, holding up a sign that read: "Big sister duties coming soon."
And, in June, they shared another joint Instagram post in which they revealed the baby's gender. In the footage, the couple shot water guns and blue water sprayed out, confirming that their new baby is a boy.
On November 3, the now-mother-of-two reflected on her family by sharing photos of her baby shower. Alongside the snaps, she wrote: "As we embark on the last several weeks of this baby girl being my only child, I can only think of how thankful I am to be her mama!"
"Sterling Skye, you have taught me so much about life. Peace, patience, be present, and truly only spend your time on what matters! You my girl are my everything & I will never take this life with you for granted!" she continued.
"I can not wait for you to be the best big sister but also soaking in every last second with just you ster girl," she sweetly added.
