Pink has shared a heartfelt message to her husband, Carey Hart, as they marked their 18th wedding anniversary - but admitted they almost didn't make it.
The singer, 44, and the former professional motocross rider, 48, first met back in 2001 and got married in Costa Rica in January 2006.
The couple are now also proud parents to their two kids, daughter Willow, 12, and son Jameson, seven, but Pink did not shy away from speaking about the tougher parts of their two decades together.
She shared a series of snaps of her and Carey through the years, as she told her followers: "Love is a lifetime of coming back to the table. We almost didn’t make it to this one, well a couple of them, if I’m being honest."
Pink admitted: "When I met you, 22 years ago, I just wanted someone that wouldn’t lie to me. I didn’t have a clue about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, trust.
"It’s f**king hard. But man if I’m not humbled by the surprise of loyalty, history, forgiveness, and resilience. How love rearranges itself and reappears after an empty night or five.
"I’m proud we made it to the other side of this year. I wear our scars proudly. You are my stubborn, beautiful, immovable rock."
She concluded her post by adding: "The family we’ve built and the stories we have weaved together and the memories we continue to make are worth more than a thousand million awards that anyone could give me. I love you and I love us. #18years #improudofyou #family."
Pink and Carey's relationship has faced its ups and downs over the years, but the pair have always come back together after periods of separation.
The Grammy winner had first confirmed in February 2008, two years after they married, that she and Carey had separated and alluded to their split on her hit song 'So What', in the video for which she is seen chopping down a tree with their names carved into it in a heart a well as getting 'void' tattooed over some ink on her wrist.
The couple underwent marriage counselling in order to save their relationship and confirmed they were back together in February 2010.
Carey also took to Instagram to share a message to his wife, writing: "In the last 18 years of marriage to this amazing human, we have done so much together.
"Raise two amazing children, travel the world, go on adventures, love, argue, make up, support each other, laugh, cry, laugh more, breakup, get back together, party, mourn, grow, and a million other things.
"There is no one else on this planet I’d rather do it with than you. 22 years in each other lives and I’m looking forward to the next 22. As long as you don’t kill me first. Love you baby!!!!! Happy anniversary, @pink."
Relationships are never easy, but these two appear to have it sussed through the bad times and the good.
