Wildlife warrior Bindi Irwin has taken to social media to show off her growing baby bump.

This comes after she tied the knot with husband Chandler Powell in March of this year at Australia Zoo. The couple had a gorgeous ceremony that took place before coronavirus restrictions were introduced.

Cradling her baby bump while wearing a black singlet and khaki cargo pants, the mom-to-be wrote: "My beautiful mum took this photo yesterday. Baby girl is doing great."

"Every time we get an ultrasound she's incredibly energetic and always moving around."

"She's now about the same size as a mountain pygmy-possum. Too cute!" the wildlife warrior added alongside a yellow heart emoji.

Bindi, 22, and her husband Chandler, 23, are set to become parents in 2021.

Bindi announced that she was expecting her first child in August before later revealing that she was expecting a baby girl.

"It's an honor to share this special moment in our lives with you. Though I'm still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter," she told her followers at the time.

The 22-year-old then shared a picture of herself with her husband holding a tiny Australia Zoo uniform.

"We couldn't wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us," Bindi continued.

"Please let me know your best advice and send good vibes and prayers to our little sweetheart. Love and light."

Sharing in his pregnant wife's excitement when the baby's gender was revealed, Chandler wrote over on his Instagram account: "Our little girl and my beautiful wife are my entire world. I'm so excited to meet our daughter when she's born next year and to see the incredible person she will grow up to be."
