Lil Uzi Vert has gone through 25 years of life thinking he was a whole year older than he actually was.
The rapper revealed the hilarious gaffe on Twitter, revealing he just found out about his birth certificate, which places him at 25, about to turn 26, not 26 going on 27 like he believed he was.
"Wait, wtf I'm turning 26??? My mom found my birth certificate," he wrote.
Naturally, the blunder saw fans rush to the comments section to poke fun at the rapper, while others raised some interesting questions in the wake of the news.
"How tf you get a license den [sic]," asked one fan who was understandably shocked by Uzi's revelation. "Who tf has a license," Uzi replied.
Another wrote: "Damn bro so you was 18 but really 17," before Uzi replied: "Yes WTFFF!!!"
While a third asked: "So you drive your Really expensive anime Sport cars without a license?" To which the rapper simply responded with: "Yes," alongside a smiling emoji.
This revelation would then mean that Uzi dropped his fourth mixtape, 2016’s The Perfect LUV Tape, on his 21st birthday instead of his 22nd.
What's more, the rapper actually celebrated what would’ve been his 24th birthday in extravagant style back in 2019, dropping $1.7 million on Floyd Mayweather’s former Bugatti, all while thinking it was his 25th birthday bash.
His apparent birth certificate discovery means that he still has another year to go until he finally reaches the "27 club," which he’s addressed previously.
It comes as the rapper made headlines earlier this year for forking out an eye-watering $24 million on a phenomenally expensive pink diamond that he had implanted onto his forehead.
He talked about the huge cost of the diamond on his own Twitter, writing: "I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now. This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017.
"That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face."
Per HuffPost, the 26-year-old also claimed in a post on his Instagram Story that the diamond, implanted on his forehead, is being kept in place by a long bar due to the swelling.
He has since had the diamond removed.
