Rihanna has responded to rumours that she is pregnant by posting an Instagram video in which she can be seen smoking in a bikini.

The rumours first began after a profile for Vogue, in which interviewer, Anna Wintour, asked her: "Do you hope to have a baby soon?"  To this Rihanna replied: "I don’t think about stuff like that. But, I don’t know…God’s plan. I look forward to all of the pregnancy rumours after this interview.’

In a later interview with Extra on the subject, per The Evening Standard, she stated: "A lot of women get very defensive. It’s personal. It’s our bodies. And, of course, it’s our time. And it’s not necessarily everyone’s dream to be a mom, but it’s mine, so I’m fine."

In response, Rihanna has uploaded a video of herself to social media, in which she appears walking and smoking at the same time while wearing a swimsuit: showing that she clearly isn't pregnant since she's puffing away to her heart's content.

Indeed, it's been a busy time for the musician, who has recently been taking over New York Fashion Week with her Savage X Fenty show, which was subsequently broadcasted on Amazon Prime.

She's also gone on to make several appearances in London and Paris for fashion purposes, topping it off with a dramatic return to New York for the release of her visual autobiographical book Rihanna by Rihanna at the Guggenheim Museum.

She's also been in a relationship with Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel, although as far as anyone is aware, the couple has no urgent plans to have any children together in the near future.

I guess this just proves that Rihanna doesn't appreciate rumours or speculation about her personal life, particularly when it comes to the subject of babies.
