The celebrity stylists worked overtime this week for Monday night's British Fashion Awards - and the frocked-up celebs did not disappoint.

From Naomi Campbell to Florence Pugh, it was a sea of colors and extravagant hemlines for the ceremony - which is a fundraiser for the British Fashion Council and focuses on celebrating excellence in the fashion industry.

One of the standout looks of the night seemed to be Rita Ora, who rocked up to the event as a mermaid, complete with a revealing sheer dress by Albanian fashion designer Nensi Dojaka, facial prosthetics, and envy-inducing waves. I mean, slay.

Now, the 'Black Widow' singer has given her 16.1 million Instagram fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the glam process with a short clip on the social media platform.

In the video, the 32-year-old is seen sitting down in a chair while her glam squad transforms her into the sexy siren. The hair around her face is clipped up with grips as her hairstylist Claire Moore works on fixing the baby hairs poking out from underneath her wig. At the same time, London-based makeup artist Esme Horn began concealing Ora's eyebrows in preparation for the amphibian-esque prosthetic.

After that, a second makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench took over, dusting over the chart-topper's eyes with a light pink hue and adding a red ombre look to her lips.

"Thank you British Fashion Awards and Nensi Dojaka and Isamaya Ffrench for the major lewk! It all came together beautifully," Ora captioned the Instagram upload.

Ora's gym-honed abs and derriere took the spotlight in the sheer floor-length dress - which consisted of a see-through sheath of material connected to a red bikini top, over a matching red thong.

Other celebs couldn't resist commenting on the look, with self-proclaimed queen of 'Sliving,' Paris Hilton, adding a heart-eyes and several fire emojis.

"She said creeeeeatureeee [...]," actress Vanessa Hudgens added.

Ora's husband - Māori film director Taika Waititi - also couldn't help but express his awe at his new bride's fit, writing: "Jesus Christmas! Ouch it burns! Too hot!"

Ora joined hundreds of other celebs at the star-studded fashion event on Monday (December 5). It was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, hosted by British-Jamaican actress Jodie Turner-Smith, and presented by Diet Coke.
