Rumer Willis has sparked backlash after sharing her list of new-mom essentials and spoiler alert: they're not quite essentials.

In a new collaboration with The Strategist, the 35-year-old opened up about the things she could not live without after giving birth to her daughter Louetta, back in April. Titled 'What Rumer Willis Could Not Live Without', the piece delves into the daily necessities as well as the lavish luxuries that come with being a new - and rich - mom.

Rumer's list includes a $1700 nursery chair, a $370 baby carrier, a $195 body cream, and a $60 water bottle - a little out of budget for other new moms out there but you have to appreciate the confidence and vigor.

However, not everyone seemed to appreciate the list, with a lot of fans taking to social media to slam the actress for being so "out of touch."

"My eyes rolled to the back of my head reading this," wrote one user, while another branded it a "nepo baby wish list."

Yikes.

After seeing all the backlash, Rumer took to social media to address the concerns before urging people to be kind with their responses to the situation.

"I was really taken aback at the level of negativity and just trolling,” she confessed on Instagram Stories. "Regardless of whether you like me or not, whether you think that I’ve accomplished anything in my life or not, I’m also just a human being that has feelings."

She continued: "I'm a sensitive human being and I would really greatly appreciate it if you weren't so nasty to me and weren't so mean to me and allowed me the space to be a person who has worked, has done things, has accomplished — in my opinion — certain things that I'm really proud of in my life."

The star then went on to explain the intention behind the article.

"I'm still working and growing and trying to find what my zone of excellence [is], or the place that feels really good for me that I wanna share, but I do know that one of the things I love to share is finding things that bring that bring me joy, finding things that I wanna share with other people that bring them joy, which was my intention in sharing.

"And I guess I just wanna have this be a reminder that even though you can label and call me a 'nepo baby' or whatever, it is that I'm also just a person," she concluded.

Rumer's full list of essentials includes a Stanley The Quencher Tumbler, the Surya Balancing Collagen Cream, a Le Feu De L’eau Petale Candle, the Soft n’ Fat Calendula Chamomile Whipped Tallow, the G-Grip, a Artipoppe Zeitgeist Monogamy in Cotton, and the Crate & Kids Family Oversized Sherpa Chair and a Half.
