James Bond icon Sir Sean Connery's wife has been soaking up the sun.

Micheline Roquebrune, 93, looked every bit the Bond girl as she posed alongside her 26-year-old granddaughter in a recent Instagram post.

Both Micheline and her socialite granddaughter Saskia flaunt their figures in the snaps, taken in the Bahamas, wearing two-piece bikinis as they hug on a boat. Behind them can be seen the crystal blue seas of the Caribbean island paradise.

"Bahama land or no land," Saskia captioned the post, which she shared on her Instagram over the weekend.

Micheline lived in the Bahamas' New Providence Island with her movie star husband before he passed away from dementia in 2020. The pair married in 1975 and were together for 45 years.

Many people were thrilled to see the French-Moroccan painter Micheline living life to the fullest in the wake of her beloved husband's death. Followers took to the comments section to shower her with love - and praise her for aging with such grace.

Micheline reportedly first met the Dr. No star at a golf tournament in 1970, when their eyes met across a dinner table. At the time, Connery was still married to his first wife - Australian actress Diane Cilento. Micheline, meanwhile, had already been married twice before.

It's said that the two hit it off immediately, and shared a very intense connection. Their relationship lasted over four decades and even survived Connery's high-profile affair with singer Lynsey de Paul.

After Connery passed away at the age of 90, Micheline opened up about her life without him, admitting that it was "very hard" to be without her beloved husband.

“He was gorgeous and we had a wonderful life together. He was a model of a man,” she said in an interview with the Daily Mail.

"At least he died in his sleep and it was just so peaceful. I was with him all the time and he just slipped away. It was what he wanted," she added.
