Much like her father before her, WWE superstar Ava Raine has taken her first step to cementing her legacy in the professional wrestling world, picking up her first career win on WWE TV.

Ava Raine - real name Simone Garcia Johnson - is the eldest daughter of wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, whom he shares with ex-wife Dany Garcia.

And on June 6 on an episode of WWE NXT, Ava joined forces with tag-team partners Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid to triumph over The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile in a mixed-tag team match.

The climactic moment of the match was marked by Raine utilizing a mask to headbutt Nile while the referee's attention was diverted by Reid, leading to her pinning Nile and securing a resounding win for her group, known as Schism. But the victory also marked Ava's first win between the WWE ropes.

Check it out below:

It comes after Ava aligned herself with the creepy faction (group) back in October.

Since then, she has mainly been seen talking on the mic, but her professional wrestling journey kicked off in a memorable fashion on the NXT Stand & Deliver kickoff show back in April, where she participated in an intense eight-person mixed tag team face-off. However, this resulted in a loss for the group.

As Raine records her inaugural victory, fans and critics are abuzz with anticipation for her singles debut. And although she appears to be enjoying her time working as a group, it is surely a matter of time before Raine steps up for her first solo showdown.

It's safe to say that there are a lot of eyes on Ava and her future in the business, after all, her father is one of the most renowned figures in professional wrestling history.

Making his WWE debut at the Survivor Series in 1996, Dwayne Johnson immediately caught the attention of fans.

Initially known as "Rocky Maivia" – a combination of his father's and grandfather's ring names – his career took off when he adopted the persona of "The Rock". And in just a few short years, his in-ring dominance and radiating charisma helped play a pivotal role in ushering in a new era of professional wrestling - the Attitude Era.

Much like his daughter, Rock was also born into a family deeply ingrained in professional wrestling, The Rock, with his Samoan heritage and the legacy of his father, Rocky Johnson, also had some big boots to fill.

His natural talent for entertaining soon became apparent, as he boasted an uncanny ability to "electrify" the crowd, ultimately coining his catchphrase, "Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?"

The Rock's journey in the WWE saw him become a ten-time world champion, winning the WWF/E Championship eight times and the WCW/World Championship twice. Not to mention his two WWF Intercontinental Championship wins and five tag team championship reigns.

His iconic feuds with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Triple H, and John Cena are hailed as some of the best rivalries of all time, with many of their matches considered all-time classics.

Despite transitioning to a successful Hollywood career, The Rock's influence on professional wrestling remains palpable. But now it is time for Ava to forge her own path in the squared-circle, and her recent win seems like just the beginning.
