There are some sports out there that are not for the faint of heart, which is precisely what Dr. Priscilla Chan found out when she was treated to ringside seats at UFC's latest live event.

Yes, billionaire Mark Zuckerberg may have a newfound love for MMA, but it looks like his wife may need some convincing.

On Saturday, the 38-year-old Meta boss was accompanied by Chan as the couple sat ringside for the 11-fight UFC Vegas 61 show at the Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

However, as the bouts took place just feet away in the Octagon, viewers couldn't help but notice the 37-year-old philanthropist wincing and covering her face as the competitors beat the heck out of one another.

Check it out below:

After clips of Chan's reaction reached millions of views on social media, people couldn't help but find the humor in the situation, with one Twitter user joking: "She clearly had no idea what UFC was when she agreed to come along."

A second added: "I can't stop laughing at Zuckerberg wife's reaction to the fight. Watched the short clip a bunch of times. I don't think she will be back."

"She thought the UFC stood for Ultimate Fishing Competition. Kept asking Mark why there was no water in there," a third quipped.

Another sympathized: "Did she not know what she was attending??? Poor woman. She’s having a terrible time"

The hilarious comments come after the New York Post reported that professional mixed martial artist Khai Wu had described Zuckerberg as a "silent killer" after they trained together.

Additionally, after sharing a video of himself sparring with Wu, many other MMA fanatics were also impressed.

Joe Rogen commented: "This is great! I’m so happy to see this. Training looks solid too!"

Additionally, even the official UFC Instagram account complemented Zuckerberg's "clean combos".

Per The Independent, fighter Mackenzie Dern had told the press prior to Saturday's event that Mark Zuckerberg had privately rented out the Apex - which is the UFC's own private production center. However, UFC president Dana White has shot down that notion, tweeting: "Mark Zuckerberg did NOT rent out the UFC Apex. That’s total bulls**t."

Dern would later go on to lose her bout against Yan Xiaonan on Saturday, but did later thank Zuckerberg in her post match interview, saying: "I have so much to grow and it’s all part of the journey and I just thank Dana [White], the UFC, my team, the Zuckerberg family for being here and making this such a great event.

"I’m sorry if I made anyone sad with my performance. I know so many people believed in me and I believed in myself, but it’s part of the game."
