Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard spoke about how he fired his agent Tyler Grasham immediately after he was accused of sexual assault.

The 18-year-old actor opened up about the decision in an interview with Washington Post. Grasham, who at the time worked for the APA talent agency, was accused of sexual assault by several male actors in 2017.

"He was abusing his power. When it comes to something like that, you can't be personal, like, 'Yeah, but I've met him and he's really nice,'" said Wolfhard, who was just 14 at the time.

"When I found that out, I was like, 'Oh, absolutely fire him. That's insane.' I felt so terrible for the people who were harmed by this person," he added.

Grasham was originally accused of sexual assault by former child actor Blaise Godbe Lipman, Metro reports.

Lipman claimed: "Tyler Grasham, under the pretense of a business meeting regarding potential agency representation at APA agency, fed me alcohol while I was underage and sexually assaulted me."

He went on to accuse Grasham of "predatory behavior, using his position within the company to prey on naive kids."

After Lipman spoke out, three more clients came forwards with accusations against Grasham. Though the Los Angele District Attorney did not eventually file charges, the allegations succeeded in getting Grasham fired from APA.

"Tyler Grasham's employment with APA has been terminated effective immediately," the agency said in a statement at the time.

Wolfhard left APA as soon as allegations surface, making him one of the first people to take concrete action.

He has since signed with CAA Talent Agency and continued to star in Netflix's hit series Stranger Things as Mike Wheeler.

The young actor has also appeared in feature films, including the 2017 remake of Stephen King's It and, most recently, the rebooted Ghostbusters movie Afterlife.

Released on November 19 2021, Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a follow-up to the original Ghostbusters movies. As well as Wolfhard, the film stars Paul Rudd,  Carrie Coon, and Mckenna Grace.

It was directed by Jason Reitman, the son of the original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman, who also helped to produce Afterlife.
