Tyson Fury has asked fans to say a prayer for his newborn daughter after she was taken into intensive care.
The heavyweight champion boxer revealed that baby Athena is currently receiving treatment in ICU, but is hopeful she will be out on Monday, August 9.
After welcoming his sixth child with wife Paris this weekend, horror struck as the tot was immediately rushed to the emergency room.
"Please can everyone pray for my baby girl who was born this morning. Athena Fury born 8/8/21. Thanks. God is great," he wrote on social media.
There was an instant outpouring of support from fans, however many were left wondering what exactly happened to his baby girl.
Fury has now gone into more detail about the situation and revealed that Athena was placed into ICU following her arrival.
He said: "Massive thanks for all the messages and support. The baby is in a stable position and doing well - hopefully she comes out of ICU today.
"Please keep baby Athena in your prayers. Paris is doing great. God bless."
Fury and his wife were in the hospital waiting for the baby girl's arrival for two days.
Fans rushed to Twitter to share their well-wishes.
"Congratulations Tyson, Paris & children on thr birth of your youngest family member Athena. I have prayed for her,God is both real and Great. You cant take away someones testimony unfortunately nor can you give it. Wisdom only comes from God, see the bigger picture with love," wrote one fan.
Another penned: "Blessed be this child as it comes into this world, and may God protect her on her way through it."
While a third added: "God bless your little girl, your children, Paris and you Champ. We're all with you."
Athena is the couple's third daughter, coming after Venezuela and Valencia Amber. The pair are also proud parents to three sons; Prince Tyson Fury II, Prince Adonis Amaziah, and Prince John James.
