There are so many things to love about Keanu Reeves that we're not even going to try listing them all, but until now, one incredible act of kindness remained unknown: he refused director's orders to shout abuse at Winona Ryder.
The incident took place on the set of Dracula, with the actress playing Dracula's target Mina Harker and Reeves her fiancé in the 1992 adaptation of Bram Stoker’s vampire novel.
Keanu also won even more love when he told Xbox fans they're breathtaking:Ryder said that in a scene where Gary Oldman's Dracula turns into a pile of rats, director Francis Ford Coppola repeatedly yelled, "You w***e" at her off-camera, in the hope that it would cause her to realistically cry on screen.
The actress said he then attempted to get the male members of the cast to join in, and this was our sweetheart Keanu's time to shine when he simply refused to participate.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Winona said: "To put it in context, I'm supposed to be crying."
"Literally, Richard E Grant, Anthony Hopkins, Keanu… Francis was trying to get all of them to yell things that would make me cry.
"But Keanu wouldn't, Anthony wouldn't… It just didn't work. I was, like, really? It kind of did the opposite."
However, despite this experience, the actress said she and Coppola are "good now" and she became friends with Keanu.
The pair have since worked on three other projects together: 2006's A Scanner Darkly, 2009's The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, and Destination Wedding in 2018.

Winona said she found it "really rough" hearing the bad reviews of Destination Wedding, where she and Keanu play a mismatched couple at a wedding.
She said: "It got the worst reviews. That movie, for some reason, every reviewer was like, 'This is the worst movie in the world,' and it was really rough."
So, if you're a huge fan of Keanu (and why wouldn't you be?), you can not only enjoy this tale of his heroism but bid to meet the man himself as he's auctioning off a 15-minute Zoom call for charity.
