Chrissy Teigen just learned the hard way to never post private information on the internet.

The model took to Twitter last night to reveal that she had accidentally posed her email address on social media, which prompted a number of her fans to FaceTime her in hopes that she'd pick up.

One person did get lucky, but to her surprise, she had a call with a friendly stranger, and wasn't confronted by anything inappropriate.

"F*ck I posted my email address lmao," she wrote on Twitter, before adding "Oh my god people are FaceTiming me. was 100% sure this would be a penis but nope just a nice stranger."

"Everything disabled and changed emails. but I love you guys and thank you for the kind words lol," she continued.

In a video shared to Twitter, Chrissy was alongside her mother, Vilailuck "Pepper" Teigen, and chatted with a fan called Ricardo on her laptop.
"Hi, Ricardo, nice to meet you. This is my mom,” Chrissy said. "Thanks for calling me!"

When Ricardo asked how the cookbook author was doing, she responded "We’re good, we’re about to eat dinner but just thought we’d answer one of these."

Before hanging up, Chrissy said "[It was] nice to meet you!"

After their short exchange, Ricardo told PEOPLE that he was "shocked [that] she answered" and "could not believe it was her".

Looking back on the conversation, the fan told the publication that if he could do anything differently, he would have "told her I loved her and her husband [singer, John Legend] and that he "would love to meet y’all one day".

And this isn't the first time that the model has accidentally shared her contact details. When a follower asked how celebrities handle incidents like this, Chrissy replied that it was "not as bad as when I published my phone number on my dog’s collar in my cookbook."

Chrissy Teigen is the celebrity queen of social media. Last month, the model-turned-all-around superstar delighted her 12.1 million Twitter followers with her response to husband John Legend being named People magazine's 'Sexiest Man Alive'.

Rather than make the conservative statement that many celebrities would be urged to make, Teigen wanted to make sure everybody knew she had bedded the hottest man on the planet and simply couldn't hide her joy.

She tweeted: "my secret is out. I have fulfilled my dream of having boned @people's sexiest man alive!! an honor!!!!!"

Teigen then changed her Twitter bio to read: "currently sleeping with people's sexiest man alive".

And then the mother-of-two wanted to make Legend's accomplishment a family matter, and shared their kid's reaction to the news that their father was the sexiest man in the world.

But it's safe to say that their kids didn't share the same excitement as their mom:

It is the non-stop banter like this that makes Chrissy Teigen an absolute delight to follow on all social media platforms.

But in a recent interview with Net-a-Porter magazine's PorterEdit, the Teigen says she wishes she took a minute to think things through before commenting, revealing: "Everything 'big' I've ever said was just heat of the moment and sometimes very regrettable. I just pop off too quick. Honestly, it's good to learn that's not necessarily the way to go every time."

However, if she did that, we wouldn't get absolute gems like this.

In a recent picture shared to Teigen's Instagram account, the model has been snapped sitting on some stairs wearing a pink blazer, while her daughter adjusts her outfit. Teigen captioned the cute pic: "on set with my stylist".

However, one Instagram user wasn't happy with Teigen's outfit choice around her daughter, and took to the comments section to write: "Jesus cover up your daughter is right there."

However, mama bear Tiegen wasn't going to let such a rude comment go unpunished, so she did what she does best: responded to him. Replying to the troll, Chrissy wrote back: "She sucked it for months and doesn't mind it much."

Fans of the supermodel were quick to have the feisty mom's back in the comments section, as many told the troll to simply keep scrolling if they didn't like what they saw.

One commenter posted: "Last time I checked @chrissyteigen is an adult and you are not any type of authority figure in her life you need to calm down and stop trying to tell another adult what to do that’s not okay."

And a second added: "Yessssss girl love the heck outta yo go get em tiger." While a third agreed: "She is covered and that is her DAUGHTER so who cares?! Get a life dude."

If there's two lessons to take away from this story, it's that you don't mess with a mom and her kids, and you don't mess with Chrissy Teigen on social media.

If you know anything about social media, you know better than to mess with Chrissy Teigen. Yeah, sure, she's beautiful, and her family with John Legend and their two kids is adorable. But if you talk smack to her on Twitter, she will come for you. And you do not want that one bit.

Chrissy Teigen might be a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, but that doesn't mean she can't hold her own when it comes to disputes online. How else would you explain her flame war with vegetarians on Twitter? She's also got some savage responses to trolls and to Donald Trump - who, I guess you could say, is the ultimate troll.

But recently, she's been the one catching fire after a pretty controversial statement about Nutella. It's not a particularly new opinion, but she's facing criticism after she doubled down on it in an interview. Now, here on Food Envy, we all love a good bit of Nutella. It's delicious. But Chrissy Teigen does not agree with you, as we found out a few years back.

Two three-word posts, both saying in no uncertain terms that Chrissy Teigen does not like Nutella. In case you were in any doubt, there was a third, just to hammer the point home, and confirm that Teigen had not been hacked.

Among the things that are better than Nutella in Chrissy Teigen's mind include "dried squid in Asian movie theaters", "Bush's baked beans", not to mention "leaving a chocolate bar in a hot car". Delightful. But since then, Chrissy Teigen's had two kids. Maybe she's mellowed out?

According to an interview on First We Feast: nope. Chrissy Teigen, as part of her promotion trail for her new cookbook Cravings: Hungry For More, where she shares some of the food she loves that can be made in the comfort of your own home. As is customary on First We Feast, Teigen chowed down on some hot wings.

Given the chance to defend some of her more debatable food opinions, her Nutella truthing was unsurprisingly first on the menu, so to speak: "I think that a lot of people think that the hazelnut is good for them - 'Oh! I'm so French!' - but no; you're eating chocolate in the morning. It's the mimosa of foods - you just want to drink in the morning."

Oh snap! Chrissy Teigen went there, and she went there again when she doubled down on her opinions on Milky Way, and her begrudging respect for deep dish pizza, which she's described as a "topless, sexier calzone". "I respect it for what it is," said Teigen, but was quick to add: "It's not pizza."

There you have it folks - if you know Chrissy Teigen at all, then this interview is everything you'd ever hoped for in terms of sass and superb soundbites. So enjoy. Maybe not with your breakfast Nutella.

It seems Chrissy Teigen has it all: looks, smarts and a lively sense of humour. Let's not forget her adorable little family, including her husband John Legend and their two so-cute-I-could-eat-them kids. (No, that wasn't intended to sound as creepy as it did.) The 32-year-old and her husband of five years welcomed their son Miles to the world just over a month ago, and their family seems to be bursting with love right now.

However, while the rest of us are over here cooing at all the adorable baby pics, it seems some people can't keep their fingers from the keypad in order to spread some vile commentaries about another person's life. Yes, even Chrissy Teigen is subject to internet trolls, showing that no-one is immune from bullying.

However, the model, mother and all-round bad-a** was not going to let a grumpy little troll get her down, and she responded in the most perfect way.

Celeb gossip mag Page Six reshared an Instagram pic of Chrissy and her family, writing in the caption: "Too cute! #ChrissyTeigen, #JohnLegend and little Luna are picture perfect in pink!". Chrissy's post of the same picture was flooded with the familiar comments like "Such a beautiful family" and "Adorbs", but there was a noticeably more back-handed comment left on the Page Six post.

"1st pic I've seen where CT doesn't look ugly," a troll calling themselves BabsyBeatz wrote. Riiight...

While vitriol like this generally shouldn't warrant a response, Chrissy decided to share the hateful comment directed at her with her fans. Uploading a screenshot of the post to Twitter, Chrissy wrote: "thank u babsy beatz I am glad i did well for u last night".

Her sarcastic clapback is perfect in demonstrating that no-one should feel as if someone else's opinion about their looks should dictate their self-worth. And it seems Chrissy's followers were totally here for it, deciding to teach the troll as few more life lessons that might stop their keyboard warrior ways in the future.

Well, it seems no matter what kind of hate Chrissy gets from time to time, she sure knows how to handle it. She's loved for her open and honest presence on social media, commenting about the hilariously mundane moments in life, and also sharing pictures of herself that don't always show her most perfect Instagrammable self.

The key thing to take from this kind of thing is that you can choose to let haters get you down, or you can dismiss their comments and bask in your self-made confidence – and drink in some of the supportive comments from fans too.

Despite being a stunning model, a talented cook, and a kickass mother-of-two, Chrissy Teigen has gained more of a reputation for one of her other attributes over the past couple of years: her expert trolling skills.

On an almost daily basis, the Lip Sync Battle host has to put up with whingy Tweeters and grumpy Instagrammers who - for some reason - think they have the authority to tell her what to do with her life. And ever since she gave birth to her second child, Miles, the subject of most trolls' complaints has been motherhood. Or, more specifically, Teigen's choice to share pictures of herself breastfeeding.

Just a matter of weeks ago, she fired back at people who had criticised her decision to share a photo of an intimate moment with both her kids.

"Christ in a hand basket," wrote one commenter. "Menstruating, childbirth and sex are natural, too, but that doesn't mean I want to see pics of it and/or celebrities like @chrissyteigen taking a bath or nursing. We get it."

But Teigen fired back by saying, "I don’t care to see grainy fireworks, coachella selfies or infinity pool pics but i let people live. calm your tits and scroll on by."

And, when another guy with an opinion decided to pipe up by saying, "I think it’s perfectly fine for women who breast feed in public. They are doing it because they need to. When you post on social media that you are doing it, it comes across as narcissistic though," Teigen had a response for that, too.

And now she's proven once again just how little she cares about trolls' opinions, as she posted yet another breastfeeding pic. This time, however, she's fully nude.

Does this look like a woman who cares what some random man on the internet has to say about what she chooses to share on social media?

Nope, didn't think so.

This follows just a few weeks after yet another incident in which Teigen received a lot of backlash for a picture of her and Miles (see, they really do love coming after her for some reason). In the apparently offending snap, the 32-year-old can be seen holding her little ones in the sunshine. She jokingly captioned it:

"Should I post the one where his head looks unsupported but my face looks good and Luna is over it, the one where his head is supported but my face is just okay and Luna is over it, or him crying and my face looks okay and luna is over it?"

And people got mad.

"Why is that baby out in the sun like that ?that’s why he crying," said one critic,

Meanwhile, another added: "Poor child is crying & taking in the sun !! sheesh."

But Teigen wasn't having any of it. When one fan commented that Miles didn't "look too happy with the sun in his little eyes," she replied: "he told me he loves it".

Once again, then, Teigen has proven that she has no time for trolls - and we love her for it.
