In the top-secret world of celebrity relationships, we're occasionally treated to some little insight into our favourite actor, or musician's love-lives, and like the insatiable voyeurs we are, we can't get enough of it.
Whether it's nothing more than a simple catch-up over some cold brews, we have become incredibly good at rinsing such information dry, in hopes that our favourite on-screen pairing could have similar chemistry off-screen.
And now, Katie Holmes has finally confirmed that she and Jamie Foxx are an item.
While Holmes and Foxx have technically never confirmed their relationship, the actress's rep was forced to shut down rumours that the couple had been planning a secret a secret wedding and decided to split because Holmes had a "sudden change of heart" and "couldn't get over her trust issues" - vis-à-vis - confirming that there is most definitely something going on between the pair.
"The Radar story is 100 percent untrue," Holmes rep said about the recent speculation.
The actors are known to be incredibly tight-lipped when it comes to their alleged relationship. The Django Unchained star actually left an ESPN interview when he was asked about his Valentine's Day date with Holmes. And when broached by TMZ several years ago about a potential relationship with the actress, Foxx replied that people "have been trying to make that stick for three years".
However, they did sit next to and act affectionately towards each other at Clive Davis's Pre-Grammy Awards Gala back in January. And last year, one of Foxx's friends, Claudia Jordan, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, nearly confirmed the relationship when she was caught saying that Foxx was "very happy" with Katie.
It's thought that Holmes and Foxx were prohibited from revealing their relationship because of an alleged clause in the 39-year-old's divorce settlement with Tom Cruise, whom she divorced in 2012.
The so-called clause apparently prevented Holmes from publicly dating someone for five years. According to an inside source, this was to prevent Cruise's name from being sullied in the press. The insider said:
"Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce."
According to USWeekly, the couples have gone to great lengths to keep their relationship out of the tabloids. "To make it impossible to get photo evidence that they are together, they traveled in cars with tinted windows and took secret back elevators. They had it down to a science," a source stated, before adding that recently, Katie had grown "tired of playing the hiding game".

Well, good on the pair for not succumbing to tabloid pressure and revealing the ins and outs of their relationship - it's up to them to decide when they want to be open about it all.

Yesterday, it was reported that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes had decided to call it quits after six years of dating.
It is believed that the couple actually separated back in May - but like most of their six-year relationship, they had kept the split under wraps. Apparently, they ended things just a few weeks after their red carpet debut at the Met Gala.
Take a look at this classic Jamie Foxx moment on The Graham Norton Show:

Jamie, 51, began dating the Dawson's Creek star, 40, in 2013, about a year after her high-profile divorce from Tom Cruise.
But a source recently told PageSix that they overheard a conversation between the actress and a friend at a restaurant, and claim Katie said: "What Jamie does is his business - we haven’t been together for months."
And now it's being speculated that Jamie may have already moved on with a new woman. While nothing has been confirmed, the Django Unchained actor was spotted out late in LA with up-and-coming singer and model, Sela Vale, TMZ reports.

It appears that the pair have been hanging out since at least July. We know this because Sela has posted a number of photos with Jamie - the first of which was uploaded in July.
"I am so grateful to this man! Thank you so much @iamjamiefoxx for everything you do and for believing in me," Sela captioned the post, including the hashtag "feeling blessed".

Meanwhile, Katie was spotted in New York by herself, appearing to be in good spirits.

It is not yet known if Jamie's relationship with Sela is anything but platonic.

Is there anything Jamie Foxx can't do?
The 54-year-old has been wowing fans for decades with his myriad of talents, winning multiple awards for both his acting and musical prowess.
And lately, he's also been revisiting his impressive repertoire of celebrity impressions.
Foxx's impression of Mike Tyson has long been legendary, but this time, his target was failed University owner Donald Trump.
During a recent appearance on Rap Radar, Foxx dropped a pretty perfect impersonation of the disgraced former US President and the Academy Award winner's fans promptly went into meltdown.
Referencing his fellow guest Snoop Dogg, Foxx said, “I love Snoop D O double-G. Great person” before being questioned on what his favourite Death Row Records album was.
“All of them. I love Death Row records. Don’t try to pin me down” came the note perfect response, with the rest of the studio in hysterics the entire time, unable to keep it together as the Grammy winner arguably topped his previous impressions of the likes of Floyd Mayweather and Dave Chapelle.
And the reactions online were just as passionate as those in the studio, with one Twitter user commenting, "Jamie Foxx might have the best Trump impression I've ever heard," while another added, "Jamie Foxx is the most talented man to ever live, sounds like Trump more than Trump."
"OMG Jamie Foxx does the best Trump impression I have heard to date. Hilarious! You know this gets under Donny's skin which makes it even better" posted another user on the social media platform.
One user went even further and even suggested that Trump be Foxx's next film role, saying, "Pitch: Jamie Foxx stars in the Donald Trump biopic."
A few years ago, Foxx went viral for an interview in which he described the opening scene of an upcoming Mike Tyson project in incredible, specific detail. The Collateral star depicted every beat of the film's first shots, dropping some of his customary Iron Mike mannerisms in there for extra effect.
The film, entitled Finding Mike, has since been repackaged into a miniseries, to be directed by Antoine Fuqua, now simply called Tyson.
