Jason Momoa. The 38-year-old actor is known for playing
Game of Thrones' Khal Drogo - a character people detested at first for his brutish ways, but then learned to love, just as his young wife Danaerys did. Although he died early on in the finale of season one, he has remained a firm fan favourite.
In real life, Momoa seems to be pretty awesome too, with the actor
catching up with Emilia Clarke (who plays Danaerys) when he was in town last week...

... And even sparking a delightful new
bromance with fellow Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju, who plays Tormund Giantsbane. Their two characters never met in the show, but it seems like the actors got along like a house on fire.

And outside of the Game of Thrones world, the Hawaiian-born man is just as awesome. You might now know that Momoa has been together with 49-year-old Lisa Bonet for 12 years now. There were rumours flying around that they secretly got married in 2007, but they actually only legally married last month.
“Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet had an official wedding a few weeks ago at their house in Topanga, California,” an inside source tells US Weekly. “Apparently they weren’t officially married until then! They said they ‘made it official’.”

And after speaking about the marriage on
James Corden's The Late Late Show on Thursday night, Momoa confessed something pretty adorable about his new bride.
"Finally man," the Justice League star said about putting a ring on it. "Ever since I was like, eight years old and I saw her on the TV, I was like, "Mommy, I want that one.""
Bonet starred in the Cosby Show, and little eight-year-old Momoa fell in love with his future wife the moment he saw her on the television when she would have been 19 years old herself.

"I’m like, 'I’m going to stalk you for the rest of my life and I’m going to get you.' I’m a full-fledged stalker,' he laughed. "I didn’t tell her that until we had two babies, otherwise, I’d be creepy and weird."
"But yeah, [I’d] just always wanted to meet her. She was a queen, always."
He revealed that they finally met many years later in their adult years through mutual friends at a New York jazz club.
"We just happened to be in the right place at the right time," he said. "I actually had dreaded my hair for her. I had dreadlocks, she had dreadlocks."

"I literally turned around and I see her and she goes, 'I’m Lisa.' I turned around to my friend and I–" he imitated a scream, causing the audience to erupt with laughter. "I had f****** fireworks going off inside, man."
Momoa was living in a hotel at the time and didn't have a car, so he convinced Bonet to give him a lift back. They ended up at Cafe 101 that night, sharing a few drinks, a meal, and some assumedly quality banter.
"We sat down, she ordered a Guinness, and that was it," he said. "I beyond love Guinness. We had Guinness and grits and the rest is history."

The love-at-first-sight story is made only cuter by the fact that Momoa had had a crush on Bonet since forever. They now share two kids together and are the definition of couple goals. Can we all have fairytale romances like this one, please?
