With veganism becoming more popular in a quest for better health and environmental longevity, vegan alternatives are populating supermarket shelves worldwide and at an exponential rate! This is the way of it, and it's hard to go anywhere now, especially in the annual event month of Veganuary, without seeing products, promotions, and advertisements focussed on brand spanking new vegan foodstuffs. With this in mind, what a lot of people are now discovering on their own respective hunger-quests is that much of their favorite go-to's and snackerooneys are actually the infamous the v-word.
[post_page_title]#1 Ritz Crackers[/post_page_title]
You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone's home or abode without a cupboard or pantry full of crackers, cookies, and biscuits. If you were to do a home invasion of an entire street, for example, you'd be sure to find these classic red-boxed crispy foodstuffs in at least one home.
Well, guess what?! They're vegan! Many of us associate crackers with cheese or perhaps flavor butter-based brands alongside our Ritzy Boiis.
Good news, you're already well-into these, keep at it!
[post_page_title]#2 Oreos[/post_page_title]
"Fancy an Oreo?" - "I'd love too but, I'm vegan, thanks though!"
*Very smugly, passes of the ingredients list on the back* "Muhahaha! Check again!".
Vegan.
[post_page_title]#3 Swedish Fish[/post_page_title]
It's a well-known fact that a great deal of jelly and or gummy sweets are derived from gelatine which in essence excludes them from the snacky veggies and vegans from the off.
I bet you used to laugh at people scrupulously reading all the packaging in the local supermarket, didn't you?
Guess what? Many of such sweet snacks now fit under the vegan umbrella and these famous little fish are amongst them!
[post_page_title]#4 Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos[/post_page_title]
Doritos are world-renowned for their flavorsome triangular excellence. Growing up in the UK, they were one my favorite ways onto-which to ruin my dinner an hour before it was served.

[post_page_title]#5 Twizzlers[/post_page_title]
I guarantee that even before any of you tried such a treat you saw some famous face or cameo stood there with a handful of these posing away. Twizzlers are an American classic.
Yep, and contrary to popular belief they are in fact vegan! Good news to those switching over or trying the diet out for this month.
[post_page_title]#6 Fritos[/post_page_title]
Chips, crisps and such are very much those snacks onto which many just assume are vegan. Sadly, many are not and it hurts, it hurts!

I dough'nt believe it!
I dough now! These a vegan! As are my puns.

[post_page_title]#8 Fruit By The Foot[/post_page_title]
You'd be very surprised how the sweet and candy industry has moved with the times. Much of what wasn't anywhere near plant-based now is and even tastes better for it.
This elongated tasty fruit count themselves in rolls and rolls and vegan-friendly fun.
[post_page_title]#9 Duncan Hines Whipped Frosting[/post_page_title]
Cakes! Cakes, cakes, cakes! Until recently the vast majority of store-bought and homemade cake used ingredients at best vegetarian, frosting sadly included. How sad!
I bet you saw this coming though! Boom! The Chocolate, Fluffy White, and Vanilla flavors are vegan!
[post_page_title]#10 Super Pretzel[/post_page_title]
Another American classic that became so after the introduction from European settlers, this time from distant Germany. The Germans as a people have hugely popular snack-based cuisine and these doughey knots are right up there!
I love pretzels and so do many others! Many of these many are now are also as vegan as this particular brand.
Excellent.
[post_page_title]#11 Brach's Mandarin Orange Slices[/post_page_title]
More gummy sweets blending all the gelatine-based numbers, standing proudly as...
... vegan! Wheyyyyy!
[post_page_title]#12 Smucker's Uncrustables[/post_page_title]
Unfortunately, I can look at the world 'Smuckers' without a little giggle to myself as a result of a particular episode of Family Guy but still, they are on this list for reason!
While the Smuckers themselves as the base jelly is vegan, it's partnering up with these peanut-butter sandwiches is excellent. Especially as, quite surprisingly, they are well and truly vegan!

[post_page_title]#14 Kettle Brand Potato Chips[/post_page_title]
Crisps/chips are a huge, huge deal for me. At university, my friends became quite concerned and astonished at the frequency in which I would ingest bag after bag. Among many brands, Kettle Chips were up there with the best.
Well, the Maple Bacon, Sea Salt, and Sriracha flavors are vegan and so are a few more I believe, get out there and enjoy some of the best you lovely lot!
[post_page_title]#15 Pringles[/post_page_title]
Still on with our crispy crunch game, we have Pringles! World-famous and for good reason, these stacked chips are addictive from the first bite, pertaining to their "once you pop you can't stop" maxim. We've all eaten a tube to ourselves at one point!
I saw you nod! Don't act as if you haven't! Well, now you can do it again! For Original, BBQ, Salsa Tortilla Fiery, Sweet BBQ, Tangy Buffalo Wing, Lightly Salted, and Original Reduced fat Pringles all make the stack!
[post_page_title]#16 Nutter Butter[/post_page_title]
Peanut BUTTER, usually contains a large amount of DAIRY to constitute the BUTTER element of its name and you'd be blameless to ignore such products while on your vegan quest as much as you many quite a few staples items.
However, there will be no more of that now! Got it! They're vegan! Go back and get them!

Po-Tarts are a North American institution!

That lovely gooey middle is the best-bit anyway, come on now!
[post_page_title]#22 Hershey's Chocolate Syrup[/post_page_title]
Whenever any friends or family when from the UK to the state-side of things, they would always bring back some US-treats and it almost always, thankfully, always be Hershey's chocolate bars. The brand's cornucopia of treats doesn't end there though!
Why not add some of it to some vegan ice cream or cakes? It's just there, in all its seductively taste-filled glory! Go on, treat yourself, I won't tell anyone.
If you let me have some, that is!

I - sure as cream - didn't.
[post_page_title]#26 Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Bars[/post_page_title]
Nature Valley products are excellent if you want balanced, healthy nutritionally delicious snacks in your diet. Granola is often a regular bed-fellow of dairy milk but once again and not for the first time on this list, you may want to rescind that association just a little.
Because once again, that "butter" word has been lovingly veganized! As have the brand's Apple Crisp, Cinnamon, Maple Brown Sugar, Pecan Crunch, and Roasted Almond flavors.
Love it.

[post_page_title]#30 Ore-Ida Tater Tots[/post_page_title]
I had absolutely no idea what these were for many years. I'd hear them mentioned by American friends and just nod along politely. To any British readers, hash-browns would be the nearest thing but anyway, disambiguation isn't why we are here.
Nope, not at all, we are here because this classic finger-food, buffet, all-you-can-eat champions are only totally vegan!
[post_page_title]#31 Back To Nature Chocolate Chunk Cookies[/post_page_title]
To say that the decision on what close this with was a hard one is an understatement. How do you close a list of snack foods and not risk being underwhelming? Do you go for something random and weird? New and abstract or...
... something undeniably classic! Cookies, specifically chocolate chip cookies are perhaps one of the US of A's best snack time treat and global export. And what better way to enjoy Veganuary or your new diet with this cocoa-coction of tasty chunky, round and wholesome sweet crumbly and soft treats.
