School, when we were all apart of it in our respective parts of this giant spinning ball of variety, we all complained and moaned about those teachers we thought were a little square or gave us a hard time. If it wasn’t us then we heard it and as well all the stories that prompted shouts and screams of “THAT’S NOT FAIR!” However, some of us, probably more than you’d think, were lucky and not only learned some life lessons but befriended our mentors and made a point of making those lessons and classes on the absolute dot. So in that theme, here is a collection of teachers that you’d be a fool to miss!

Many teachers are often seen to be boring and obsequious to the rules and regulations and devoid of all ability to have a little fun. Many teachers.
Again, many teachers take their jobs seriously and that can flip on both the good and bad side of it all. This teacher clearly takes his work just as seriously as his fun.

To encourage debate is the way to nurture the inquisitive mind and enrich the knowledge and development of minds that will go on to lead. Every word of that is true, but there are other far more humourous ways to encourage a little friendly discourse.
Memes - who'd of thought they'd become so entrenched in the education system, eh? Well played, teacher!
[post_page_title] #3 'Genius Teacher' [/post_page_title]
Now listen here, don't deny it, substitute teachers were always easy targets and at least once we all took part in making their already difficult jobs even harder. In hindsight, it was more than cruel but thus are kids. However, some of them were always one step ahead.
Had this been me in this classroom, I'd be praising this teacher's class act. Spoilers are not preferable but, this is legendary.
[post_page_title] #4 'My Face Physically Hurts From Smiling So Much Today, I Love Teaching You Guys" - 'My Professor, Who's Such A Good Soul' [/post_page_title]
Teachers are in the game for the sole purpose of giving developing minds what they need to grow and become the best they can be and there is no doubt therein. This next individual is very much all about his job in the best way.
This is completely heartwarming, to say the least. I will gladly and with certainty assume that everyone in this class did ever-so well at the end of it all. Hat's off.
[post_page_title] #5 'Sitting In My Immunology Class When' [/post_page_title]
Again, it's easy to assume that teachers aren't cool or up to speed with what is currently down with the kids. It's easy to assume but also commonly enough completely off the mark.
You what's cool? Episodic dramas about necrotic humanoids. Do you know what's not? Not vaccinating your kids? And finally, you WHO else is cool? THIS GUY.
[post_page_title] #6 'There Is A Student In Class Who Likes To Draw A Cat Of The Day. One Day That Student Wasn't In Class So The Teacher Drew One Instead' [/post_page_title]
Now, I don't know about you, but what I felt really stood a teacher out was how in touch with their students they were way beyond how well they were or weren't doing grade-wise.
Teachers often become role models for any and when they are in touch with your personal traits, you're more than likely to respond to their wisdom and methods. This is something that this teacher absolutely unambiguously has down to a T.
[post_page_title] #7 'My Professor's Door (Once You See It...)' [/post_page_title]
Sometimes you hear stories from the year above, the class next door or elsewhere about teachers who are coveted by their classes and spoke of highly by past students for a multitude of reasons. Tales travel far and feel like this next entry on this list is very much one of those fabled knowledge purveyors in his prime.
I have so, so many questions and a bucket-load of admiration! If this teacher's sense of humor is anything to go by, I'm going back to school.
[post_page_title] #9 'On A Door In The Health Sciences Building At School' [/post_page_title]
Pushing boundaries is a term that has near-limitless contexts. Enter this absolute masterful signposting.
I have no words, other than that Reddit user BootsOfDanger has a username that's more than appropriate.
[post_page_title] #10 'Our Teacher Told Us To Get In Groups And Practice Theses Shakespearean Insults, I Love English A Lot More' [/post_page_title]
My best friend is a teacher, and he assures me that when it comes to controlling a group of children, nothing is more important than an adaptable strategy. For example, how do you curb swearing and unruly behavior? Well...
You make it part of the lesson! This teacher has managed to produce something that all of our sinfully boring Shakespeare lessons back in the day needed. Before you move on, maybe try to work some of these into your vocab for the next time a tirade of insults is required.
[post_page_title] #11 'My Teacher Raises A Picture Of His Own Face To Make Sure No Student Is Lost During The Fire Drill' [/post_page_title]
Ah, fire drills, boring, often unorganized and repetitive but still important that you nail it, get it right, get out and stay safe. That's the end game, but there is some wiggle room for different methods - apparently.
"And the award for the most organized class-fire drill goes to-"
[post_page_title] #12 'My Professor Asked Me To Bring My 7-Week-Old Kitten To The Class. He Learned A Lot About Poetry' [/post_page_title]
Leniency, special conditions - call it what you want, this teacher did.
What's brilliant about this here image is that despite the wandering feline, bar one student looking up as it nears him, the rest are soundly getting on with their assigned task. This teacher cares not how the work gets done, just that it does. I'm sure attendance here in Mr. Bring You Cat's class was always way beyond the minimum requirement from this point on!
[post_page_title] #13 'Spotted In The Window Of A Biology Professor Office At A Community College' [/post_page_title]
On a serious note, the fact that many in the western world and many other developed countries are spoiled and treated to free education is not something that should be taken lightly. Such sentiment is precisely the mantra and ethos on which this teacher adheres to and champions.
Fun is fun, but knowledge is power, kids!
[post_page_title] #14 'The Coolest Math Teacher In Town' [/post_page_title]
I was and absolutely still am, incredibly bad with maths and any kind of task that requires numbers, my day job involves this very field on a regular basis and in truth, I still struggle to this day. I had good teachers but I just didn't get it! However, after seeing this next image, perhaps going back to ye olde schoolhouse is in order...
Brilliant x Infinity = This teacher.
[post_page_title] #15 'My Professor Gets The Internet' [/post_page_title]
Teachers who excel teach and purvey knowledge you didn't even release was so crucial to a given field.
The term "easy mistake to make" is thrown around a lot these days and this professor is well aware. Positive and humorous reinforcement at its finest class. Take Note!
[post_page_title] #16 'My Teacher Hand Draws/Writes Memes And Jokes Every Day' [/post_page_title]
We all remember it, the dreaded walk into the first and last lessons of the day, the fear that time will stop. The slight glint of hope reflecting off the windows before the dreariest of starts quashes your hope of an easy hour or two. This teacher knew it too.
Not only did they know it, but they knew that in order to do their job and make it as painless as possible for those relying on them. I laughed, a lot. So, Mr. JokeMeme, I hear you're doing night classes now? Where do I sign up?
[post_page_title] #17 'So My Drivers' Ed Teacher Only Has 3 Fingers On His Left Hand And Took Advantage Of It When He Went To A Museum' [/post_page_title]
Amusing? Check. A quality often sought after in a teacher or instructor? Check. More to it? Absolutely.
Yes, it's funny and likely prompted more than a minor chuckle from this student but what it really says is - rock your differences and own your disadvantages, being unique is to be powerful.
[post_page_title] #18 'My Math Teacher's Board Today' [/post_page_title]
Endgame spoilers? That was a tough week or two when all your mates, colleagues and family had seen it before you and using the internet in any capacity was precarious at best. It wasn't any better in the presence of other humans either, and this teacher knew it.
Mr. Scrubbed Out Name knew exactly what to do and how to lay down the rules. Harsh to some, but necessary to others.
[post_page_title] #19 'This High School History Teacher Has Been Drawing Picture Of The Day For His Students The Past Five Years' [/post_page_title]
It's the little touches that often make an experience, and when it comes to methods of teaching, in any subject, this golden rule stands.
It all boils back to the first impression or the first thing seen or heard that day and no matter what the subject or who walked through his doors, this teacher was well and truly well-ahead of the metaphorical game.
[post_page_title] #20 'This High School History Teacher Has Been Drawing Picture Of The Day For His Students The Past Five Years' [/post_page_title]
Once again, we are talking about control. Classes and lectures require structure and that can only be with strict rules and methods in order to make it all work and not boil-over off onto the side. Teachers have to quash certain things before they reach fruition and redundant lines of questioning are often at the very top of the list!
Now, I can imagine watching your red-faced, frustrated teacher begin to undress in the middle of debunking another stupid theory or line of inquiry quite unnerving, normally. Normal, however, isn't some we are paying too much attention to here though is it? What an absolute genius.
[post_page_title] #21 'I See Your Teacher's Yearbook Photo, And I Raise You This. 2 Years In A Row' [/post_page_title]
Being British, yearbooks aren't really something you see a lot of here, it's crept in certainly, but it remains far more of a North American phenomenon. That said, if you're going do it, do it right. Take note, UK schools...
What we have here is a timely, and in this case, an annual reminder that teachers are people too and not just mindless automatons.
[post_page_title] #22 'My Teacher Said If The Class Could Get An 80% Test Average On Our First Exam He Would Dress Up As Batman For A Day. A Pic From The Day We Got Our Test Results Back' [/post_page_title]
One important lesson we all must learn in this thing called life is that if we say we are going to do something...
...we damn-well do it. You've nailed it, Mr. Wayne.
[post_page_title] #23 'My Professor Gave Me A Present Today' [/post_page_title]
Another important life lesson is to learn to laugh and take a joke and in this case, it also ties into the fact, outside of your family circle, teachers have the prerogative to rip on you just a little bit.
Littleboycat obviously took this very well and so should he, teachers take a great deal of ridicule from their class, why shouldn't they give it back? Do you want a boring teacher? Of course not! You'd learn nothing!
[post_page_title] #24 'My Professor Brought In A 10 Mb Hard Disk From The 1960's' [/post_page_title]
Unfortunately, due to my pre-1960's hard drive, I am unable to say much on this ent-
*various computer noises* Apologies, just had to upgrade. Now, where was I? Oh yes! This teacher is a prime example of why each one of them should be given a chance, the subject may pre-exist the teacher, but it is the teacher that makes it.
[post_page_title] #25 'My History Teacher's Presidential PEZ Collection' [/post_page_title]
History is a subject that divides many. I have a history degree and many find that difficult to fathom as they see it as the most sinfully boring of subjects. However, much like the class who witnessed the below, the right teacher is all you need.
Making history all the sweeter. Who is your favorite PEZ-ident?
[post_page_title] #26 'Newton's Third Law Of Motion: As Demonstrated By My Professor, A Skateboard, And A Fire Extinguisher' [/post_page_title]
The more I move through this list, the more I smile.
Teachers are absolute heroes. Why would you not want to attend classes taught by this man?
[post_page_title] #27 'My Professor Lost His Pointer. He's Been Using This For The Past Couple Classes' [/post_page_title]
Improvise and adapt! Use the force!
Lost his pointer? Or fell to the Darkside? Who knows and who cares? The job is being done, his way and probably ONLY his way... Let the anger flow through you.
[post_page_title] #28 'We Had A Test Today And My Teacher Couldn't Make It So He Told The Sub To Put This On The Screen' [/post_page_title]
Knowing your teacher is with you every step of the way is not only affirmation of their commitment but also instills a feeling of confidence in the class. This is a tried and tested method and practice in contemporary teaching and from my own experience, I can safely say it works. However, each to their own on how you go about it, teachers!
This teacher clearly took his educational mandate with the utmost seriousness and even in absence, his presence was ubiquitous in the lives of his students.
[post_page_title] #28 'My Professor Said He Spent Two Hours Trying To Match His Powerpoint With His Tie' [/post_page_title]
I am told by my teacher friends that going the extra mile is something required on the daily and intrinsic to the role of teacher no matter at what level. As a student, it was always something nice to see and beneficial to all those involved. This next example may well be a little wacky, but it's faultless all the same...
If this professor saw color-coordination to be in the best interests of his flock of sorts then so be it. For why would you question a man whose commitment went as far as using his tie is an educational aid? It's so ridiculous, it must work!
[post_page_title] #29 'My Teacher Put Up A Picture Of Himself On His Door So It Looks Like He's In His Office' [/post_page_title]
Once again, I don't have a huge amount to say on this other than it's more proof of teachers being part of humanity rather than being cold, unfeeling automatons.
I'm sure baked_potato17's teacher was there when required but a little push back on the piss-taking shows true character and only makes me want to attend this man's lessons even more.
[post_page_title] #30 'Professor's Dog' [/post_page_title]
As stated before, this list is in no order but after scrolling through the archives of teaching-brilliance that I have at my disposal for this and recouping all the time I lost to laughter, we are at the end and what better way to end than with this...
The presence of a good boy or an excellent hound is an educational aid and a half. Why is this pooch dressed like a princess, who knows? Why is he there exactly? Again, who knows? But I'm sure these students were more than relaxed and in good humor as a result.
