Picture this: you're in bed, you don't have air conditioning for whatever reason (it's 2019, get with the times), and you're violently sweating. A cold shower sounds like the greatest thing in the world right now, but it's an ungodly time to jump in, and your roommates would have questions; mainly, why are you bathing at 3 a.m.?

Instead, hike to the freezer and grab a pair of slippers. That's right, TV dinners, ice cream and cheap vodka aren't the only thing you're keeping on the bottom shelf anymore.

RapidRelief is selling Premium Reusable Cold Slippers on Amazon. The blue bad boys will cool off your toesies again and again for only $15.03 (£12.08). All you have to do is pop them in the freezer and wait.

It doesn't look like you can chose your slipper size, but don't worry (well, worry if your feet are larger than five inches by 12 inches). The slippers are flexible when they're frozen and have contour-gel technology that shapes to your skin.

The product description reads:

"Tired feet after a long day? The patent pending, Rapid Relief Premium Reusable Cold Slippers deliver cold therapy to reduce swelling and relieve foot pain and discomfort. Our Contour-Gel technology allows the compress to mould to the foot, yet remain flexible even when frozen. Manufactured with premium fabric, our reusable cold slippers are easy to use, and designed to provide total coverage to the sole and top of the foot."

While these slippers are designed as cool relief for foot pain, swelling and discomfort, their uses go way past arthritis or gout. Try putting them on after working out, or a long day of walking.

What's next to keep us cool during the summer heat? Frozen pants? I'm not saying I'm not on board.
